Before you go off blasting dirty photos of your ex-girlfriend on Twitter, you should probably think twice! Twitter recently jumped onto the anti-revenge porn band wagon by making an update to their privacy policy banning nudity and 'revenge porn' without the consent of the person in the photo. Although it might seem a bit logical that Twitter would be on board with ridding their feeds of photos that people did not consent to, prior to this ban there was no regulation whatsoever! Sorry bro, you missed your opportunity.
Although Twitter's privacy policy always mentioned that users couldn't publish other people's private information, naked photos and revenge porn seemed to find their way through the cracks. But with the recent update to their privacy policy, people are now able to request that these photos be taken down.
Sorry guys, but it looks like you'll have to find another outlet for your revenge porn blasting ways! Twitter might not be having it anymore, but at least they haven't banned nudity all together. Twitter > Instagram, you get the picture!
