iTunes vs. Porncasters?

PORNSTARS

We had almost forgotten about the long-time problems that certain podcasters have been having keeping their shows up and running on iTunes, but based on this recent tale of impromptu censorship, it's still an ongoing issue. The creators of "Sex is Fun!" recently found their podcast unceremoniously dumped from Apple's listings (right after they managed to creep into the iTunes Top 100, coincidentally enough). iTunes does reserve the right to reject "offensive" material, although what and how they determine something to be "offensive" is completely unclear. The fact that "Sex is Fun!" resubmitted and got back on, only seems to emphasize how arbitrary the rules are. So while this game continues unresovled, we guess you'll just have to hope and pray that your favorite shows stay where they are and don't get too popular - or they might get sold out.
