A Berlin-based multinational recently posted a job listing on the German sex website Kaufmich, a site where sex workers offer up their services to potential clients, looking for a business degree possessing, multi-lingual man or woman to travel the world as a "brothel tester." According to the Daily Mail (link below), this isn't some fly by the seat of your pants operation. They're looking for seriously qualified candidates with extensive knowledge of red light districts and health & safety regulations.
The Berlin-based business that advertised the job opening is a multinational company which has franchises in China, Germany and Spain. They are looking for both men and women, preferably with business degrees, who are able to speak several languages, in particular French.
'Practical experience with many years of brothel visits necessary. You should enjoy having fun with people and you should not be afraid of contact.'
The role will entail visiting different brothels to check standards of cleanliness, customer service and value for money. They will also be responsible for making sure that the men and women in the business carry out safe sex.
I'm torn on this one. Is this better or worse than visiting shady restaurants and shutting them down? I think it's a push, but there's got to be someone out there who reads this job listing and realizes immediately what they were destined to do... I just don't think that person speaks French. Either way, I'm baffled as to why this job listing does not include the "Safety not Guaranteed" disclaimer.
