Most people think getting tied up into all sorts of kinky positions is just a fun way to pass the time, but to photographer David Lawrence it's an art form. He takes an aesthetic approach to rope bondage with soft lighting and careful posing, but that doesn't change the fact that the resulting photos are still erotic, as you can see in his web slideshows. It does help, however, to be able to refer to what he does using a cool Japanese word like "shibari." In practice, it may not be much different than hog-tying, but it sure sounds classier.
