Won’t Somebody Write A Musical About Rose Byrne’s Cleavage At The Tonys?

Every year the Tony Awards celebrates the best and brightest theatre professionals on the New York stage. The Tonys are often filled with singing and dancing by those who are at the peak of their artistic abilities, but this year one particular show grabbed my attention: Rose Byrne and the Amazing Technicolor Cleavage. Man, I really hope this show tours.  

Okay, okay, so there is no play called Rose Byrne and the Amazing Technicolor Cleavage… yet. I’m sure there are a large number of playwrights who could write an entire show around her really sweet cleavage. There are so many possibilities. It could be a straight up drama, like Death of a Salesman, but that would be a little dark and Rose Byrne’s cleavage is a happy thing. It could be a comedy like The Importance of Being Earnest (The Importance of Being Rose Byrne’s Cleavage) or The Odd Couple (The Not-At-All Odd Cleavage). Although, if we are talking Tony Award winning show, the show should probably be a musical. Something in the vein of My Fair Lady (My Fair Cleavage) or Gypsy (Cleavagey); I can see the opening number now, Rose Bryne stands center stage in the red dress, a spotlight on her cleavage and behind her the chorus dances around her singing a song about how amazing her cleavage is. Talk about a showstopper.  

Of course in the theatre, musicals take years of development before they see the light of the stage. It’ll be a long process, but Rose Byrne’s cleavage is worth it.
