I'm a proud gamer. It all started with my older brother's Atari 2600 and 7800 I used to play for hours. There was also a Magnavox Odyssey 300 pong system from the 70s my mom owned. From there, it was the NES, the Game Boy, Tiger Electronics, SNES, Sega Genesis, the battery sucking and sucking period Game Gear, Nintendo 64, the underrated GameCube, Wii, Xbox 360 and soon I'll finally splurge on the XBox One in time for Batman: Arkham Knight, the acclaimed Mortal Kombat X and the awesome looking Rise of the Tomb Raider that got previewed at the E3 conference yesterday.
Oh Lara Croft. When you hit the video game scene back in '96, you really made a splash. And you got more attention for your big tits and tight shorts then you did for your archaeological skills. I turned 12 when the original game came out, just in time for puberty and right when the internet was in full swing. I didn't own a PlayStation (Nintendo loyalist, sigh) or even play Tomb Raider, but that wasn't the point. Just the fact there was a mainstream game where the main character wore a tank top with huge knockers and kicked ass was groundbreaking and opened the door to more risque games that makes Lara's polygon breasts look tame as fuck. Played GTA V or Mass Effect 3 lately? Tomb Raider, one of the best-selling games of all time, was a game changer.
Screenshots and gameplay of Lara's latest adventure look amazing. The action game will be available exclusively for the Xbox One later this year with PC and PlayStation 4 versions available next year. If you've played and enjoyed 2013's Tomb Raider then you know Square Enix has given Lara a breast reduction and ditched the shorts for a more practical approach, I guess. Happily, the sexy Camilla Luddington will be returning to voice our sexy heroine and if there's anything close to a real life Lara Croft, it's this sexy Brit. Plus, unlike her character, she's not afraid to take off her clothes completely!
