Emilia Clarke Talks All Things “Nude Harness Time Travel”

I imagine that your reaction to the news that Terminator Genisys was rated PG-13 was the same as mine: total blind outrage that may or may not have ended in a hole punched in the drywall of your girlfriend's apartment. According to Emilia Clarke, however, PG-13 was always the route the film was intended to go, which fit nicely into her new "no more nudity" policy.

According to Western Morning News (link below), Clarke freaked out when she first read that she would be doing some nude time traveling in the film, but relaxed when she realized that they would digitally darken her naughty bits to secure a family friendly rating.

One section of the Terminator Genisys script was a particular eyebrow-raiser for the Game Of Thrones actress, however: when she and her co-star Jai Courtney travel through time, completely in the buff.

"I double-checked the age-rating and was like, 'OK, we're good, there's only so much you can see!'" admits the actress, who has also appeared nude as silver-blonde exiled royal Daenerys Targaryen in the hit TV show Game Of Thrones.

"Nude harness time travel, it's an interesting one to add to the CV," she adds. "You've just got to have a sense of humour and laugh. Loudly."

I'd like to see Emilia laugh loudly. I'd honestly like to see her do anything that's not just standing around looking stoic. This generation of actors is so self-serious, but hopefully the time spent with Arnold "eating isn't cheating" Schwarzenegger taught them to how to live, laugh, and impregnate your maid like no one is watching.
