Hate him or abhor him, you've got to give Ted Cruz credit... He's definitely his biggest fan. It should come as no surprise then that the Canadian-born Senator, who doesn't view his own foreign born roots as a roadblock to the White House, has a new book out in which he discloses a great story about looking at internet porn with former Supreme Court Justices William Rehnquist and Sandra Day O'Connor.
According to The Week (link below), when Cruz was a young, wet behind the ears court clerk, just dreaming of the day he could shut down the government through a thorough misunderstanding of a Dr. Seuss book, he and Bill and Sandy gathered around the computer to take a look at some internet porn.
The court was considering a case that involved internet regulation, and a demonstration of the ubiquity of porn on the internet was set up to explain the situation to the elderly judges. As Cruz, Rehnquist, and O'Connor watched, a court librarian searched for a misspelling of "cantaloupe."
"A slew of hard-core, explicit images showed up onscreen," Cruz recalls in his book. "As we watched these graphic pictures fill our screens, wide-eyed, no one said a word. Except for Justice O'Connor, who lowered her head, squinted slightly, and muttered, 'Oh, my.'"
Yeah, like Rehnquist never fucked a cantaloupe.
