Hot Latina Actress Natalie Martinez Stars in Hot Summer Thriller "Self/less"

Hot as fuck Cuban-American Natalie Martinez stars in the very hot summer movie thriller "Self/less" the hits theaters this week.  She stars with Ben Kingsley and Ryan Reynolds and it truly looks something something I will be sure to check out. The story is about Kingsley, an aging billionaire architect who decides to take advantage of a new technology called "shedding" where he can give up his old body and jump into a new, younger one.  Well, it turns out that Reynolds' body was not created in a lab and that there was a murder committed to give Kingsley his wish.  I think we all wonder what it would be like to live forever and here, Martinez supports us all in finding the answer.

She hails from Miami, Florida and she graduated high school in 2002.  Her very first big break as a model was being the spokesmodel for J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez, Lopez's clothing line that sells nationally at Kohl's stores.  She beat out six thousand other models who had portfolios and experience.  Martinez had never modeled before but Lopez definitely saw that raw drive in her and made her the face of the line.  That's some hustle, liek she says about her acting career above.  Impressive.  

Martinez has been in a ton of music videos in her career for artists such as this very sexy video below for the Pitbull song "Rain Over Me" featuring Lopez's ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Wisin & Yandel, Amr Diab, Sean Paul, Justin Timberlake and Self Scientific have also used Martinez's looks and dancing skills in their music videos.  

Martinez's TV career began with a role in 2006 on the show "Fashion House" where Martinez got to star alongside rival fashion empire heads Bo Derek and Morgan Fairchild.  From there, she went on to the series "Saints & Sinners" , a crime drama where she starred with Maria Conchita Alonso and Robin Givens.  Her next big TV series was ABC's "Detroit 1-8-7" where she played the role of police etctive Arianna Sanchez.  She went on to play another copy on a season of CBS' "CSI: NY" and yet another cop on the series based on a short story by Stephen King--CBS' "Under The Dome".  That is a lot of time spent playing a lot of strong female cops and I am guessing her hustle, again, played through her auditions and got her that work.  Cool, really, even if that typecasting probably got old for her, somewhat.  She is currently in the cast of the ABC mystery series "Secrets & Lies" and not the role of a cop but in the role of a woman married to a soldier who is raising their son while he is deployed.

her big feature film break happened in 2008 in the Jason Statham-starring remake of the classic action flick "Death Race" (fun!) and then starred in the drama about high school friendships and bad life choices in "Magic City Memoirs" (not so fun!).  In 2008, Martinez played played a small role as a whore/assassin in a group of whore/assassins in the Eva Longoria-starring hollybilly action flick "The Baytwon Outlaws" which makes for a great rental if you need something to watch this weekend.  She played a supporting role as a cop's wife in the 2012 Jake Gyllenhaal drama "End of Watch" (another great rental but a more serious one if you aren't looking for a whore/assassin flick this weekend).  

In "Broken City", we get to see Martinez's sweet boobs where she gets naked in a movie that plays within the movie.  How meta!  Well, at least she got to steer clear of Russell Crowe's horrific hair piece in this movie along with the fun that is Mark Wahlberg and his overly-done hair color.  (I am not saying I am prom queen.  I just wish they would stop casting Wahlberg with super-duper young, age-inappropriate female love interests.  That gets old to watch, for me, anyways.)  Enough of my rant on that--behold the majesty of same nekkid Martiinez by clicking here.

Martinez's role in "Self/less" hopefully will give her some of the breakthrough success that this beauty deserves.  she also appears this year in the yet to be released horror flick "Home Invasion".  There's not a lot out there about "Home Invasion" but in it, Martinez plays Bella Thorne's step-mom in this story of a family that becomes imprisoned in their home and forced to play a deadly game by the intruders.  Creepy!  Martinez also stars in the upcoming film "Message From The Kink" about a man who returns to the United States from South Africa to avenge his sister's death.  That one stars Alfred Molina so I will definitely be giving that a look.  Keep your eyes peeling for pretty Martinez in the coming years.  I am hopeful she will be given lots more to do.
