Okay, I have to have an honest moment here; I seriously didn’t think these were pictures of Selma Blair. I double and triple checked them before I would actually believe they are Selma Blair. You see, in my head Selma Blair is always the dark haired, mysterious, kind of scary, but also sexy girl who never smiles, not even once. Yet these pictures show a bright and smiling Selma Blair, that was a little hard for my brain to process.

I’m sure that in real life, Selma Blair is not a dark and mysterious person—though she could be, I don’t know I’ve never met her—but that’s the image of her that is burned into my head based on her film roles. It would appear that Blair, wearing fun clothes and rocking some sweet pokies, seems to really enjoy things like shopping. I would imagine Blair spending hours in a used book store finding the oldest book there, but that doesn’t seem to be case. I have to say that I kind of like bright and smiling Selma Blair, maybe it’s time we see that version of her in a movie. Granted, one movie won’t completely change the image I have of her in my head, but it couldn’t hurt.  

I guess the question we now have to ask ourselves is if dark and mysterious Selma Blair is better than bright and smiling Selma Blair. Maybe they are both awesome in their own way.
