To truly be an icon one must transcend time. We tend to toss the word around when someone does something kind of cool, but we soon forget about them and what they did. The real icons never fade, never go away, and we never forget. Bettie Page is a real icon.  

Page was hot back in the 1950s and she still hot today. To call her the Queen of the Pinups is kind of an understatement to the impact Page had on sexuality, fashion, and modeling. To this day people still worship her, copy her work, and some people even strive to be the next Bettie Page. Though I feel the need to point out that there will be only one Bettie Page because the flame of her hotness will never go out. Now, I’m not trying to discourage anyone from imitating Bettie Page, far from it, but you can’t surpass the great and sexy Bettie Page.  

When you know that there will be only one, that no one will be ever to replace them, that even to this day they continue to influence the world, you know they are a true icon. Bettie Page is a true icon and truly one of the sexiest women ever.
