Hilton Hotels To Phase Out Adult Videos On Demand

Guess You'll Have To Use Your Computer To Look At Porn In A Hilton

There’s nothing like staying in a nice hotel, like the ones you typically find baring the name Hilton. The beds are nice and soft, the bathrooms are spotless, and when it comes to entertainment, there's always a wide selection to choose from on the big screen television. But pretty soon one of your entertainment choices will be going away… Porn.

Yes, it would appear that porn doesn’t fit in with the Hilton’s vision and goals for their hotels—their family on the other hand… According to Buying Business Travel (link below), many Hilton Hotels have already removed the option of in-room adult films, but by the end of next July, it will be gone from all of their hotels.

"We are making immediate changes to our global brand standards to eliminate adult video-on-demand entertainment in all our hotels worldwide,” Hilton said in a statement.

"While the vast majority of our properties already do not offer this content today, this content will be phased out of all other hotels subject to the terms of their contracts."

The hotel group added: “We believe in offering our guests a high degree of choice and control during their stays with us, including Wi-Fi on personal devices. However, we have listened carefully to our customers and have determined that adult video-on-demand entertainment is not in keeping with our company's vision and goals moving forward."

I guess in the age of Wi-Fi and personal devices, watching porn on the television for $19.99 isn’t raking in the dough like it used too. Don’t worry, the bottle of water will still be there and will only cost $15.99
