Erika Lust’s XConfessions: Slo Blo Mo Job

I have a growing obsession. Once upon a time, I stumbled upon Erika Lust's TEDTalk, reveling in the originality and thought that clearly goes into her erotic filmography. I meandered on over to her site to check out what all the buzz was about, and I was sucked into a vortex of awesomeness that I have yet to emerge from. No, no one is paying me to review Erika Lust's work—I just fucking love the stuff.

Take this film, for example: Called Slo Blo Mo Job (yeah, yeah, I know, me and the blow job videos), it's an artfully, passionately produced recount of a BJ in slow motion. What makes Lusts's work so unique is the astounding filmography; not only do these art films seem capable of winning every mainstream award out there, but both performers look like they are enjoying themselves immensely. Unexpected angles, unique effects, gorgeous lighting, and artful pacing make these some of the most beautiful, scintillating videos I've ever watched—and they're all hardcore.

I don't know about you, but if I saw my fantasies reenacted with stunning filmography and a beautiful cast, I might cry. Just, like, not from my eyes, but down there.

Nothing about Lust's films are softcore, though—it's the filmography that casts this kind of porn into its own genre.
