Only in Florida: Two For Flinching

In my column Only in Florida, I'll be taking you down to the Sunshine State for the latest and greatest sex stories that can only be found in the craziest state in the union.

There's a very definite reason that I selected this particular story, and it's because I need to explain something to all of you asshole guys out there. Keeping nude pics of an ex after the two of you have split is unacceptable. I don't care the spirit in which they were shared, they're no longer yours. You don't get to keep her stuff once the relationship ends, naked pics included. 

In the days before texting, I had an honest to goodness nude picture of my girlfriend at the time and when we split, I burned that shit. I felt bad immediately after, but when I see her now on Facebook, happily married and having moved on with her life, I can only imagine how awful she would feel knowing that I might potentially still have that picture and use it against her some day. 

Therefore, I feel as though this is the first time I've read about a Florida woman beating the shit out of a man and thought to myself, "good on her, that asshole had it coming." Meet Summer Cade...

Summer here is splitting from her husband and according to WJLA (link below), the cops were called the other night to settle a dispute between them...

According to a report from the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, Summer Cade was worried that her husband wouldn't delete the pictures since they were divorcing, and feared he would show the pictures to other people.

She told deputies she repeatedly asked him to delete the photos.

When he told her he wasn't, investigators said she jumped on him, knocking his glasses off. She then started hitting him until he finally gave her the phone and deleted the pictures.

He then called 911.

Cade was arrested for domestic battery and is being held at the St. Lucie County Jail.

She has since been released, but shit, I would pay her bail in a second. Her piece of shit soon to be ex-husband would have never deleted those pictures and would likely have shared the shit out of them. Good on ya, Summer. You knew it was worth a trip to jail just to make sure this got taken care of, and I don't blame you one bit for doing what you did. The world needs more women like Summer Cade.
