Despite the fact the longtime artistic collaborators Lyn Balzer and Tony Perkins' work usually features gorgeous naked women posing in lush landscapes, it would be doing it a disservice to consider it merely your run-of-the-mill art smut; after all, there's a higher purpose at stake here. As explained on their online portfolio, "Their photographs reflect and deep passion and commitment to the beauty and extremes of the Australian landscape. Landscapes set against the apparent fragility of the feminine form—milky limbs against lush blue skies, and soft skin against razor sharp grass. Through light, colour and textured surfaces, our awkward co-existence with the landscape is marked." Mmm, milky limbs. Uh, what's that they were saying about nature again?
