I'll never forget where I was when word came down that we lost "Macho Man" Randy Savage. As someone who spent their early childhood enamored with the WWF wrestling superstars of the 80s, it was a real gut punch. Thankfully Bruce Campbell is keeping the late, great Randall Poffo's memory alive with this story about the time the two shared a trailer on the set of 2002's Spider-Man.
While promoting his new series Ash vs. Evil Dead on Yahoo! Movies (link below), Campbell explained how difficult it was sharing such a tiny space with someone whose sexual appetite was as ferocious as the Macho Man's apparently was...
You'd think it would be impossible to get on Bruce Campbell's bad side, but he certainly doesn't seem to have too many fond memories of his time spent with the man who would be Macho. Even still, I'd kill to have a story even half that good about a professional wrestler. My only brush with greatness was meeting Tito Santana at a charity event in my hometown in the late 90s. Yeah, it wasn't anywhere near as cool as it sounds, and it doesn't sound all that cool.
