Porn veteran Kiki D'Aire is currently back from some time away from the industry, and I am damn glad she is back. She is a versatile performer—super at fetish scenes and all-sex scenes and acting in features. She is sweet, compact, and a total knockout. As part of her comeback, she stars in Diabolic's "I Wanna Bang My Aunt", where she enjoys her sweet, fake nephew Chad Alva in this release directed by AVN Hall of Famer Mike Quasar. Here are her answers to 20 questions we asked in an email interview:

What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"I was a nerd in high school, marching band, and all," she said. "I had friends in band, bad kids (hoods), over achievers, older kids. My high school boyfriends came out of the closet in college."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"I wasn't a porn fan in the sense that I watched it or had seen a lot of it. My parents used to watch the Emmanuelle movies and skin mag type stuff like H.O.T.S. Most of my knowledge of porn came from feature dancing and seeing the girls ads in exotic dancer magazines. I knew who Brittany Andrews, Ginger Lynn, Amber Lynn, Lisa Ann, and Jenna Jameson were.

When is your next shoot?

"I'll be on camera again tomorrow morning, LOL."

What made you decide to come back as a performer?

"I enjoy my work, but let's face it . . . it's not exactly easy to blend into the civilian world and keep a normal job."

Who are your favorite female/male performers to work with and why?

"I truly enjoy everyone that I work with. There is something sexy and unique about everyone. I will say that I'm looking forward to getting a chance at Michael Vegas one-on-one one of these days."

You have a lot of fans out there. What is the best thing about having all of those people admire your work?

"I hear that a lot of my fans used my work to get them through deployment, which always makes me smile. I also am flattered when they tell me they discovered me in high school or college."

What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

"In my normal life, I like to be on top because it can be loving or really animalistic."

What have you seen as the largest changes from when you left to being back now?

"So many changes! Technology, the amount of girls, the decline of business due to free porn, publicists, etc. I could go on and on..."

What advice would you give to someone who wanted to be better at sexually pleasing a woman?

"Pay attention! Her body will give you clues as to whether something feels good or not. Be present, communicate."

What are the best things about being a porn star?

"Hmmmmm. It's a different kind of life. It takes a special person to enjoy it. I do enjoy acting in general."

What do you think are “must-own” DVDs for your fans?

"My filmography is pretty large, over 300 now. I'd say Captain Mongo's Porno Playhouse, The Violation of Kiki D'Aire, Authority Figures, Cuckolded by a Carny."

What do you plan to do during your comeback to porn?

"I just got my own toy line, so I'm going to promote the hell out of that. I'm also continuing to put more brand new exclusive clips in my clip store."

Who are your role models in porn and how/why do they inspire you?

"Alexandra Silk and Luc Wylder constantly remind me that a happy relationship while in the business is possible. Nina Hartley reminds me that smart women enjoy sex and educate others."

What do you like to do for fun?

"I'm pretty laid back. If I'm not at home with my dog cooking, reading, watching movies/TV then I'm with good friends enjoying dinner/drinks."

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

"I actually sat down and watched Straight Outta Compton."

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

"The last movie I sat down and watched was The Fashionistas."

Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

"Hitachi all the way."

"Charlie Hunnam. Angelina Jolie."

What is coming up for you?

"More acting!"
