2016's AVN Hall of Famers Are the Best of the Best!

AVN has announced their 2016 AVN Hall of Fame members, and the Video Branch contains a group of performers and directors who have given us a ton of great porn to enjoy over the years. Here's a guide to them to acquaint (or reacquaint) yourself with their work.

Joanna Angel

His work as a porn screenplay writer has been completely awesome, with him winning Best Screenplay back in 2002 for Wicked Pictures' "Breathless and this year's "Sisters of Anarchy" for Digital Playground. His work as a director was also excellent. He currently is the co-founder of Rising Star PR, an adult industry PR firm.

Jonni Darkko

Jonni Darkko started out in adult as a stills photographer and moved on to direct for New Sensations, where his most famous title, "Groupie Love" featured rapper 50 Cent. He joined Evil Angel and has made excellent ethnic and oral fare, with his star showcase "V For Vicki" starring Vicki Chase was an all-time hit with critics and fans alike. Darkko also composes his own original techno soundtracks for his filthy, gorgeous movies.

Dana DeArmond

Shown above in 2007's "Anal Acrobats" (the first one in the series directed by Jay Sin for Evil Angel) DeArmond is "The Internet's Girlfriend". She has a hilarious Twitter feed and she shines equally in features or in the filthiest anal scene you will ever want to look at. DeArmond can do it all.

Nikita Denise

Nikita Denise, the 2003 AVN Female Performer of the Year, is shown above during a brief comeback in 2013 when she starred in Mike Adriano/Evil Angel's "MILF Anal Addiction". Tommy Gunn

Her role as Scully in the New Sensations' Parody "The Sex Files" won her an AVN Award and made her a go-to for fans, and her new directorial work has been excellent.

Sascha Koch

German-born Sascha Koch was a workhorse performer for Red Light District and Anabolic/Diabolic back in the 2000s, doing as many as three scenes a day. Alex Ladd

Teagan Presley

Teagan Presley was a super popular contract star for Digital Playground and then Adam & Eve. She stopped performing back in 2013, but she is still on the road feature dancing.

John Strong

John Strong is one of the most reliable performers/occasional directors that there is, and he has worked for every company shooting an all-sex release that exists in porn, pretty much.
