Wanna Hear Will's Fleshtunes?

Inked male porn performer Will Havoc has an AVN Awards nomination for his role in Kink's "Hardcore Gangbang Parodies 3" and he has very fine taste in Fleshtunes.

"Straight to Hell" by the Clash: The Clash is an all-time favorite. This track in particular has such a cool and original drum beat (that has more recently been sampled on a hip hop track). One of the reasons the Clash always spoke to me is their ability to make music that was almost hypnotic in its rhythm, and brilliantly relevant in its lyrics. The song is really beautiful and sad, it's about mixed race kids that were a product of the Vietnam War (typically, Vietnamese mothers, and American GI fathers) who weren't accepted by either culture. Like so many of my favorites, it has a melancholy that is just irresistible.

"Goodbye Horses" by Q Lazzarus: This track, of course, was made famous by the movie "The Silence of the Lambs." I love a good crime thriller, to be sure. I also love both the movie and the song because it's played during the scene in which Buffalo Bill does his infamous "tuck," kind of signifying his non-conforming gender identity. The cool thing about the movie is that it separates gender non-conformity from what, historically, been pathologically related to antisocial behavior, which the film acknowledges aren't actually related. Incidentally, I have the song title tattooed on my stomach in script above a classic Pharaoh's Horses.

"Waiting for the Night" by Depeche Mode: I listened to this song a lot as an angsty teenager. It was always comforting to me, you know, when it was all just "too much." I think the lyrics kind of speak for themselves.

"Sound System" by Operation Ivy: I was a punk as a kid, I grew up in the Bay Area. This album was practically required in my high school parking lot. My band at the time covered this track in particular. I like it because it exemplifies that positivity that existed in the punk/hardcore scene at the time, even though it was a touch earlier than when I was going to shows and playing shows myself.

"Black Metallic" by the Catherine Wheel: Shoegaze for days! Its gushy lyrics, simple chord progression with a couple of layered effects get me every time. It's just so dreamy!

The image of Havoc above with Zoey Monroe is from their scene together in Burning Angel's "Professional Anal Whores 2". Follow Havoc on Twitter to keep up with all of his porn star doings and here's what I am listening to right now. Hope you are having a super week!
