No Joking This Time, Not With a Nun and Chainsaw

In my column Only in Florida, I'll be taking you down to the Sunshine State for the latest and greatest sex stories that can only be found in the craziest state in the union.

Things in Florida haven't been all that sunny recently with Hurricane Irma hitting the state, and while it wasn't as massive as it was predicted, it was still pretty bad. And while we like to poke fun at the state of Florida this time around, we thought we'd sing it's praises; because only in Florida is there a nun with a chainsaw.

If you haven't met Sister Margaret Ann by now, then please take some time to enjoy the awesomeness that is a nun with a chainsaw. It's a nun with a chainsaw. A nun. Chainsaw.

"The road was blocked, we couldn't get through," Sister Margaret Ann told CNN. "And I saw somebody spin in the mud and almost go into a wall, going off the road. So, there was a need, I had the means — so I wanted to help out."

The chainsaws were sitting in a closet at her school, Sister Margaret Ann said, "and they didn't belong there. They needed to be used."

Sister Margaret Ann was just living by her code of helping others. That's pretty awesome. I don't consider myself to be much of a religious person, but damn it, I love the chainsaw nun. Every year there are bad Halloween costumes that come from the news and pop culture and if the Chainsaw Nun isn't the biggest costume of the season there is something completely wrong with the world.

Florida, we are with you. The Chainsaw Nun is truly, truly #FloridaStrong. You keep being you, Florida, you keep being you.
