Director Axel Braun Seeks Crowdfunding And/Or The Force

Director/producer Axel Braun has set up a campaign on Indiegogo to fund a porn parody of "The Empire Strikes Back". Braun previously directed "Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody" for Vivid.

The crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo wants to raise half a million dollars by April 22nd. The funding goal is, according to an Axel Braun Productions press release, equal to the budget of the movie’s predecessor, Star Wars XXX. The amount raised for the new movie would cover the cost of production, marketing, Indiegogo fees, and crowdfunding perks, which include premiere party tickets, signed scripts, costumes and props from the movie, visits to the set, and other items designed to induce porn fans to shell out cash to make this movie happen.

Once the movie is funded, Axel Braun Productions will be releasing the movie for free to anyone over the age of 18, in an effort to prevent piracy of the parody. It is a fixed funding campaign, meaning that if the fundraising goal is not met, all of the donors will have their donations refunded.

Axel Braun Productions says that the cast of the Empire parody will feature returning cast members Allie Haze, Lexington Steele and Seth Gamble along with new additions to the cast including Riley Steele, Carter Cruise, Aiden Ashley, Casey Calvert, and Asa Akira, on loan from Wicked Pictures.
