Britney Spears Dancing in Bikini: Good. Britney Spears Dancing in Bikini for a Short Time: Bad

Social media is both good and bad. Here’s a prime example of the duality of social media: Instagram is wonderful because it allows Britney Spears to share videos of herself in a bikini dancing on the beach, but it’s bad because the video is so damn short.  

Yes, social media allows us to connect with old friends, new friends, and celebrities we have no chance to ever meeting in real life. It is always awesome to get a peek into the lives of celebrities, especially when those peeks involve dancing and bikinis. Normally I’m OK with the quick videos of Britney Spears dancing (she posts a lot of them and that is awesome), but the shortness of this one really bothers me. For, you see, towards the end of the video, it would appear that all that twirling and turning caused Britney’s bikini top to rise just a bit, exposing a little underboob. Had this video gone on longer, perhaps this little dance number would have become a bit of striptease. Man, that would have been one hell of a great day for social media. Though we all know that Instagram and their stupid rules would have taken the video down right away.  

Maybe the next step in social media will be a video-sharing platform that allows for longer clips. You know, if that were to happen, Britney Spears would surely join and treat us to more bikini dancing videos. Come on, you tech geniuses, get on that.
