Amy Adams Is Doing an HBO Series, So That Means She’ll Be Topless Right?

Not that anyone needs any more motivation to watch a new series of HBO, but Amy Adams is has signed on to play the lead in the upcoming series Sharp Objects. Once again HBO is proving it’s not TV, it’s a gift for the heavens.  

Sharp Objects (the show) is based on the book by author Gillian Flynn who wrote the book Gone Girl, which became a mega hit movie. Now, I use the term “mega hit” because the movie featured a topless Emily Ratajkowski so that instantly makes a movie a mega hit. Amy Adams is set to the play the main character from the book; Camille Parker is a reporter who returns to her hometown after she is released from a psychiatric hospital and starts digging into the murders of two preteen girls, but things don’t go according to plan. Apparently in the book Camille Parker gets a little too friendly with an 18-year-old male, who just so happens to the a suspect in the murders—so I would say there is pretty good chance we’ll see some Amy Adams nudity. I mean, it is a HBO series after all. There has to be some nudity or they wouldn’t put it on the air, right?  

There is no word on when they filming will begin or when the show is set to premiere. We’ll just have to keep our eyes open and our fingers crossed that we’ll get a topless Amy Adams on our televisions screens in the very near future.
