Candy Is Sweet and She Is Back!

How does it feel to be a performer again? What made you decide to take that time off? Did you get what you needed to get out of that time off?

"I have been in some sort of aspect, (often several at a time) of adult entertainment beginning from when I turned eighteen! (I am currently thirty-two.) I've never in all my years NOT been a performer/involved in adult entertainment in some way. Originally from Chicago, in 2005, I became 'bicoastal', living/splitting my time between Chicago and L.A. In 2014, I moved (solely) back to Chicago for personal/family reasons.. but as I said,had still always worked in XXX entertainment. Being in Chicago the last couple of years, I obviously haven't shot new XXX scenes,as that mecca is in L.A., but I've always maintained other (means) of XXX work, be it webcamming, dancing, and such. It's definitely time for me to get my butt back to the West Coast after all this time,though! At least traveling back and forth as I did in the past. I'm very excited for people to see what things I have in store/to come/in the works!"

Who are your favorite female/male performers to work with and why?

"I don't really like answering this question! There are so many great performers,and everyone brings a little something different to the table, so to speak. I like to find and bring out these unique qualities about each and every very different individual. I do have people I DON'T/WON'T work with for certain reasons, but those are very far and few, and I won't name names not get into that. I don't like/appreciate gossip, and wouldn't like it being done to me... so I will keep it private and stay classy on that matter!"

You have a lot of fans out there and an active Twitter feed. What is the best thing about having all of those people admire your work?

"YES! I'm (I feel) truly fortunate to have such an amazing, dedicated and loyal fan base! And so many of them, from all around the world! And also, especially for all this time!(nearly twelve years), that longevity amazes me, and is definitely not something you see too often. I suppose the most important thing to me is making/putting out the very best content possible for them, as they deserve the best. And also, my personal relationship with them! I'm very interactive with my fans. I mostly use Twitter (my NEW account @REALcandymanson) and I always reply to everyone's tweets, personally! I don't have an assistant or 'someone else' replying for me. Same goes for/with my emails! I dedicate a good amount of my personal time/time daily to keep up and make this possible. I also 'gift back' fans with Candy Manson merch when I receive wishlist items and gifts, as my way of saying thank you! All these things are very important to me. The fans make me feel loved and appreciated, and I want them to feel the same from me in return."

What’s your favorite position to get fucked in and why does it get you off?

"Sex positions! Generally, they are ALL amazing, (if done right)! I'm very sexual, so I like to go back and forth between sex and foreplay, oral, whatever comes to mind and goes with the natural flow of what you're doing at the moment, and what kind of sex you're having. When I'm in 'the heat of the moment', I don't THINK.. I just DO! So it's whatever is working and feeling good in that moment! Although I do have a gravitation towards positions that allow for great penetration and stimulation, while also engaging in one another more intimately. Positions that also allow for eye contact, making out, and stimulating other body parts at the same time work well for me. Spoon position and variations of it are sure wins with me!"

Is there a piece of advice that you would give to a brand new porn performer?

"As a 'vet', I could write a book on the subject! (Ha!) I go on forever regarding 'advice'..but it's funny how everyone has something different to say, or opinions vary! I'll just cover a couple 'basics'. Find a reputable agent you are comfortable with, and remember; they work for you, not the other way around! It's YOUR body, so YOU make the rules! Don't ever do anything you're not comfortable with/happy doing! Be 'safe', inside as well as outside of the industry. Learn 'common courtesy/set etiquette' ASAP! Find an industry vet to help/advise/mentor you through your/this process. On that note, I'm personally happy to help/ answer any questions for newbies! Take CARE of yourself/your body. Don't fall into partying, drugs, etc.. (Trust me--it SHOWS!) As I said, I could go on forever, as there is much to be said. Don't be afraid to ask questions, just ask!"

What advice would you give to someone who wanted to be better at sexually pleasing a woman? 

"Advice for men wanting to please a woman: First, DON'T try to 'copy' what you've seen in a porn scene. I feel that's guys biggest/most common mistake/misconception. Every woman is different. The best thing you can do to please her (and you both!) is to just ask! Be as communicative/verbal as possible! Even if she is shy, your gentle urging will relax her and open her up to letting you know what she likes, feels good, what works for her and what she wants! And if SHE'S happy, trust that she will make sure YOU are in return!"

What are the best things about being a porn star?

"The best part of being a porn star is getting to make a career out of something I love to do and am good at and getting to share that with the world/fans and making them 'happy'! In addition, getting to work with and befriend all the other wonderful, talented people in all aspects of this industry."

What do you think are “must-own” DVDs for your fans?

"MUST OWN CM DVDS? Well I stand by all my work, and have a very wide array of genres to chose from, so there is something for everybody! I will especially be expanding upon this on my upcoming site, so I believe ALL will be very pleased, and very surprised at some of the new, never before seen content I'll be featuring!"

What do you plan to do during your comeback to porn?

"During my 'comeback', people can expect to see a LOT! There are so many things I'm working on I cannot even begin to cover it all! But a main focus, as mentioned, is going to be the launch of my site!"

What do you like to do for fun?

"I don't currently have much 'downtime' for 'fun'.. but I do make it a point to allot myself some 'me-time'. I'm pretty simple. I read and write quite a bit, exercise and do yoga, and love to snuggle up in bed with my two little dogs and watch documentaries."

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

"I don't actually go to see nor watch movies very often. I mainly watch at home, usually informal documentaries. Otherwise, I'm a huge fan of the 'Penny Dreadful' series!"

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

"In all honesty, I myself do not watch porn. I prefer to be MAKING it!"

Are you into toys to get yourself off alone or are you a low-tech woman?

"Well, I feel most women would agree with me that at the very least, owning a Hitachi is a must! I love strong vibrators, as well as electric play and all assumed gadgets, but I am not particularly into just plain dildos. Fetish/BDSM toys if anything are more up my alley. When alone, my go-to is the Hitachi. I always own two at a time, just in case I fry one out! When with a partner, I'm fine with or without toys.
