If This Part of Lindsey Vonn's Training Who Are You to Stop Her?
It’s important to remember that there are actually two different types of Olympics: summer and winter. I know it’s easy to lump everything together under one banner, but they are two different events with different sports, competitions, and competitors. So, if you’ve ever wondered what winter Olympics athletes do during the summer games, Lindsey Vonn works on her tan by the pool.
I have no idea if having a tan makes you a better skier, but I’m not going to ask Lindsey Vonn how to train. I’ve never been on a pair of skis in my life; I don’t know crap about skiing. If Lindsey Vonn needs to hang out by a pool, wearing the tiniest blue bikini bottoms while sipping on some kind of canned drink, then by god Lindsey Vonn needs to get all sweaty looking amazing by a pool under the warm summer sun. There’s no law that winter Olympic athletes can’t enjoy the warm weather. It’s crazy that someone would even think that. Lindsey Vonn has earned the right to enjoy the sun in a tiny blue bikini bottom and no one should do a damn thing to stop it.
Hey, Olympic athletes train for years to become the best at their spot. Their training may seem strange to us, they may seem like a waste, but if standing by a pool with a nice sweaty gaze and a tiny blue bikini bottom makes Lindsey Vonn a better skier, than I support her in every way possible.
