Kendra Is Now a Vixen
Library Girl Kendra Sunderland has not only done her very first porn scene, but she is now a "Vixen Angel," AKA a contract performer for AVN Director of the Year Greg Lansky's latest website Vixen. Like everything else, Lansky is doing it in an ultra-classy fashion. The Vixen Angel will receive quite the gift basket for their efforts for this company, including a Tiffany necklace and some custom-made Christian Louboutin heels, so look for a lot of porn stars wanting in on that. Sunderland could not have made a decision that would make more of a splash than to have her first porn outing be for a Lansky site. Here's what she had to say about that experience.
So in our last interview you said, "I definitely don't plan on doing hardcore porn, with the actors and the camera crew telling you what to do. I have nothing against it, I just don't see that it's for me. I would rather choose my own partner and do homemade videos or cam shows. Plus I see a future for myself in so many other parts of this industry." What changed for you and made you want to perform in porn?
"I met my boyfriend Tucker Eli and we developed an open relationship. We talked a lot about wanting to get into the industry and how it was a turn-on for us. Then I got an offer from Greg Lansky and we knew I would regret it for the rest of my life if I passed on it."
How did it feel doing your first scene?
"I was so nervous before my scene! I was afraid I wouldn’t be any good, so I did lots of 'research' on Greg’s work beforehand. Right from the beginning, Greg and his entire team made me feel so comfortable. I was treated like a princess the entire day! I put all of my effort into this scene and I’m so proud of myself for impressing the Director of the Year! Everything came so naturally to me that it didn’t feel like work at all like I thought it would. I had such an amazing experience I’m so happy I did it."
How was Mick Blue to work with?
"I was relieved to know that it was going to be with Mick Blue! He gave me lots of really good advice and really helped me through the scene when I didn’t know what I was doing. He really deserved to win Male Performer of the Year at AVN!"
What did you enjoy most about being directed by Greg Lansky?
"I enjoyed how much Greg was impressed with me! He made me feel so special and comfortable on set! His work is truly amazing and unlike anything else in this industry. He’s an extremely intelligent and talented director - I’m so honored he chose me for the exclusive release of Vixen.com!"
What type of projects are you looking to do from here? Has your creative agenda changed?
"I’m really only interested in doing very upscale, artistic projects. Although, I’d love to work with a few girls in the industry as well!"
You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. What has their reception to the scene been?
"I’ve only received positive responses from people! My fans were super surprised since I said I would never do scenes and I feel like they were really grateful I finally fulfilled their request!"
What can your fans expect from you in the coming year?
"More surprises. :)"
What else is coming up for you? Will we be seeing more porn scenes from you?
"I’ve received lots of offers to do scenes for other companies but if I’m going to work with any male other than my boyfriend, Tucker Eli, it will only be with Greg. Everything that I do is kept a secret until it’s official release day so I guess you guys will just have to wait and see. :)"
What advice do you have to a new girl just starting in porn right now?
"My advice is do whatever you want. People say you should only do girl/girl first and milk that as long as you can before doing other scenes. I say if you want to take an offer then do it because even if you regret it later, in that moment, it was exactly what you wanted to do. Also, don’t be afraid to speak up when you want something or something makes you uncomfortable. You’re the one in control."
Is there anything you want to say to your fans here at Fleshbot?
"I want to say thank you to all my fans for not holding my past interviews against me. I know I said I would never do porn, but people change their minds. I didn’t degrade myself or sell myself for the money. I truly didn’t want to do porn when I said I wouldn’t, and I truly wanted to do it when I did. I love all my fans and I’m happy you guys loved my scene!"
