Healthy Loads Are Important!

So I was perusing my Twitter feed as I do probably more often than I should, and I was struck by a conversation that was going on between a couple of female porn performers. The two were talking about a disgusting on-again/off-again, substance abuse-having male performer who has just the worst cumload to take down ever. They referred to this unnamed male performer's cum load as "toxic coke cum".

Yeah, that is a phrase that sticks in the brain once you hear it but it is definitely not the first time I had heard about that.

One of my favorite actresses who ever acted in movies or television is Pam Grier. If I could magically transform into any other woman who has ever lived, I would want to be Grier back in the 70s when she was in "Coffy" or "Foxy Brown." She had this sexy, strong beauty that just slays me. She takes zero shit in her life and she lives the way she wants to.

She has an excellent memoir titled "Foxy: A Life In Three Acts" that she co-wrote and it is an excellent read. It really is and not just because I adore her. She tells stories about her life as a sex symbol and about her relationships. I didn't know that she is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's girlfriend! They dated back when he was Lew Alcindor. (He wanted her to convert to following Islam and she refused so that relationship was off.) She briefly dated Freddie Prinze Jr. before the drugs completely destroyed him but her biggest relationship back in her blaxploitation days was with Richard Pryor.

They really were in love and she had a front row view of all of his addictions. She didn't use anything and she was hopeful that he would eventually get his shit under control and that he would boot all of the leeches who were trying to get all of his money, time, and coke. She thought their love would change him and that he would try to heal himself so that they could have a long life together.

The book is great and she shares a very personal story about a visit to her gynecologist that changed her life. Back when Grier appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, she told some stories about what her doomed relationship with Pryor was like:

Pam and Richard were together for a year and a half before calling it quits. "He would say 'Baby, I know you're simple, and I love this about you and you're endearing. No drugs, no drinking—all of that stuff gets me into trouble. But I'm afraid I may not be funny if I'm sober,'" she says. "And he fought that. He battled with that."

After a gynecologist visit, Pam says she discovered Richard's vices were affecting her too. She writes candidly about the experience with the hope of informing women who may be at risk. "There was an epidemic of a lot of people doing cocaine," she says. "And it accumulated in the body and often in the prostate gland. It would come out during your sexual activity and [end up] inside a woman."

Pam's doctor cautioned her about the dangers of having unprotected sex with Richard. "[The cocaine] could harm the woman's internal organs," she says. "So I had to tell Richard, 'You're going to have to wear a raincoat—a condom.' And he had an issue with that, and I said, 'Well, it's my life. You have to understand.' So I chose me."

First off, I felt a whole bunch of outrage because, well, she is Pam MF'ing Grier and if you have to wear a condom to bang her, well, then wrap your junk up and experience her! This was also the first time I heard that cum could be dangerous to a woman's body. It makes sense - think about the fact that if a man eats pineapple, his cum will taste sweeter. I had also heard porn stars complain in the past about male performers who were living off of those powdered products at the vitamin store and how their cum was pretty nasty to the taste.

I really wanted to know what could make that "toxic coke cum" dangerous so I asked Wicked contract star/director of the sex ed series "jessica drake's Guide to Wicked Sex"/sexpert jessica drake to give us all the answer about how cocaine-tainted semen can cause danger to a woman's cervix and uterus.

"When it comes to sperm quality, motility, and even taste - are we really what we eat? While we need more scientific research on this, I say 'garbage in, garbage out!' Through doctors and common knowledge, we have gathered that smoking, drinking, diet and drugs all have an effect on sperm quality and motility, therefore affecting fertility."

However, consider this: a study* examining the presence of pesticides and heavy metals in human semen suggests that pesticides, pollution, tobacco, and other toxins are detectable in sperm, so connect the dots and imagine how those things would taste! So, yes, our fertility is affected by all aspects of our way of life, even inadvertently."

Grier went on to develop cervical cancer later in her life and while we can't all blame Pryor's cum for giving her that disease that she thankfully survived, I am sure that taking his load inside of her for years was not helpful and healthy for her.

So what can a man do to help his semen healthy for cream pies inside of his lady fair? Drake says:

"What can you do? Keep it clean! A drug-free lifestyle will help, as well as drinking in moderation. Consider a lean diet with more fresh fruits and vegetables and less preservatives and red meat."

Ladies, know about your man's health habits. A man with substance abuse problems will do you more damage than just the whole "being-in-love-with-a-guy-who-doesn't-really-want-to-live" thing. Refusing sex to a man who is using coke is completely fine and a porn star should be able to refuse to work with that guy and not be accused of being "difficult" for doing that. Directors/producers, think about the fact that many one of your female cast might want to have a baby someday and that that possibility is more important than her scene in "Cream Pie Goodness #78". Just call an agent, ask for other male talent, and send Mr. Coke Dick home.

Men, be kind to women and yourselves and live a healthy life. You will probably get laid a whole lot more if you do and isn't that what we all want?

Drake bases her work her info here on this study--Kumar, Pant and Srivastava (2000), Chlorinated pesticides and heavy metals in human semen. International Journal of Andrology, 23: 145–149. doi:10.1046/j.1365-2605.2000.00218.x

Drake knows her stuff.
