The Young And The Restless Airs Their 11K Episode Today!

I am not much of a soap opera-watching person but a lot of people out there are. They must be because today the eleven thousandth episode of this series is airing. They have been on the air continuously for five days a week, every week since March of 1973.

Holy fuck, that is just a shit ton of daytime TV!

Whatever you think of the genre, that many episodes is just fucking impressive. I think that part of the success of the series is all of the romantic, dramatic, sexy doings that give the viewer permission to indulge in their own erotic fantasies. Everyone needs that in some form and The Young and The Restless has been serving that up for the masses who just happily scarf it down.

One of the male stars of the show was following my Twitter feed for a while which totally surprised me but then he dropped me after a while but I still believe that he is out there reading ALL the filth here. (Hi! Hope you are jerking it well!)

A lot of the women in the series have had a lot of sexy moments, too. The over the top lingerie and bathrobes are pretty epic. Congrats, soap people!
