The First Trailer for “Fifty Shades Darker” Is Online Now

"Fifty Shades Darker" Is on the Way

"Fifty Shades Darker", the sequel to the BDSM-lite/romantic feature "Fifty Shades of Grey", released its first trailer this week as you can see above. The main characters - Christian and Ana - appear to be back together for this which I guess is good except that stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are rumored to have absolutely loathed each other through the making of the original movie and on the promo tour that they were forced to do to promote the movie.

For what it's worth, there are some pretty great/interesting actors who are appearing in this one: Kim Basinger, Hannibal's Hugh Dancy, Marcia Gay Harden, and Rita Ora are all in the cast. Too many people I know really hated this movie and I watch so much actual porn that really, it feels like a complete waste of time to spend cash to go ahead and put myself through a movie that a lot of people I respect have said that is a steaming pile of crap. The marketing juggernaut interests the fuck out of me, though, since it is selling very porno/explicit sexy stuff in the most vanilla way possible.

"Fifty Shades Darker" will be in theaters nationwide on Valentine's Day next year.
