A Bunch of Dirty Words Are Now Legit!

Over a thousand new words have been added to The Oxford Dictionary in its latest volume, and a whole bunch of filthy words (AKA, my daily lexicon) have been accepted by the people who approve this kind of thing.

"Gender-fluid" is recognized, which is pretty awesome, given the movement towards trans acceptance that's happened lately.

The word "biatch" has its hip-hop roots honored by the Oxford peeps, but my favorite addition is all of the variation of "butt fuck" that has made it into our language for the ages.

"Moobs" and "man boobs" are also immortalized, thank goodness, and "jagoff" and "focking" also made the cut.

I really do not get behind the whole concept of any words being dirty. The only obscene or dirty words are words that are put in a context where they are being used to hurt or lie to other people, I think. Ideally, we should be able to express ourselves freely without any of the words being considered to be something bad unless the person saying them is truly acting like a jagoff.
