Close, But No Ashley Graham Boob

The phrase “close, but no cigar” can be traced back to the 19th century carnivals, where if you won a prize it was often a cigar. So when you didn’t win they would say – “Close, but no cigar!” So it's the same sentiment as when you read a headline like “Ashley Graham Poses Completely Naked” only to learn that Ashley Graham, while technically naked, is covering everything up. 

Let’s be honest, it’s a little disappointing. Not Ashley Graham - she looks hot as always and I’m a little surprised her hand bra can actually keep her boobs covered, but the disappointment comes with the fact that we aren’t getting the full nude Ashley Graham. Nothing covered, nothing hidden behind an arm, nothing strategically tucked behind a leg, just Ashley Graham and all her curvy glory. And I’m in no way saying that I’m not thrilled beyond belief by these pics, but I was hoping to finally see Ashley Graham’s amazing boobs. And yes, I’m declaring them amazing even though I have never seen them.  

We all know those carnival games were rigged, and if you think about it, headlines like these are the internet carnival games. You think you are getting a nude Ashley Graham and that’s what you get . . . well close, but no Ashley Graham boobs. But I wouldn’t say we lost - after all, we are walking away with some Ashley Graham cleavage.
