Gonna Dance the Night Away
In my column Only in Florida, I'll be taking you down to the Sunshine State for the latest and greatest sex stories that can only be found in the craziest state in the union.
We've all experienced that moment when the music takes over and all you can do is dance. It can be made worse if someone catches your eye and you maybe kind of sort of possibly want to impress them. Sure, you can make a total fool of yourself, but that might end up working in your favor. In the case of one Florida woman, twerking on top her car didn't help change the police officers feelings for her.
Gainesville Police responded to call of loud music around 3 a.m. over the weekend, and when they arrived they found 35-year-old Danielle Jefferson dancing her heart out. When the officers asked Ms. Jefferson to turn down the music and stop dancing, Ms. Jefferson responded in the way she knew how...twerking. Yes, she got up on her car and twerked and twerked and twerked.
Police gave Jefferson 15 minutes to comply with a noise warning notice. Jefferson soon started dancing again, and allegedly told police they could arrest her if they wanted.
The officers issued her a citation and handed the paper to her to sign. She crumpled it and threw it at the chest of one of the officers. Jeffreson was then arrested for resisting an officer without violence.
But it would seem it wasn't just the music that was making Ms. Jefferson shake her money maker - she might have a had a little crush on one of the officers.
After her arrest, Jefferson told police she thought one of the officers was “cute” and wanted to keep him around to “argue.”
The music is going to get you and you fought the law and the law won. Maybe next time try some different moves - everyone likes the electric slide.
