While many artists look to the wonders of nature, the divine and crap like that for their inspirado, Kate Ruth finds hers in the pages of magazines like Genesis, Oui, and Hustler. Her dirty girls are based loosely on the loosies found in the pages of seventies porno mags. She's released two dirty coloring books ("Drinking With Kate" and "Coloring With Kate"), but good luck finding them since they flew out of hipster boutiques in a matter of days. Besides her renown as a painter/illustrator, Kate is also a famed stylist who has styled shoots for fashionista bibles iD and Dazed And Confuzed and for an impressive list of major celebrities, including really really impressive groups like Fannypack.
