As reported in the NY Daily News sports section, Ryan was critical of the poor journalistic skills of ESPN's Jemele Hill, co-host of the "His and Hers" show. The perception that women aren't "real" fans of their teams and that they need dumbed down versions of the sports and pink team jerseys just isn't cool.

"Women lead very busy lives and if we only have thirty minutes in the morning to catch up on sports news, we need it to be accurate. We don't have time to keep checking blogs, websites and other sources."

"Fact is that the sports world is a predominantly a 'man's world,' so us women have to be accurate at all times. Otherwise, we look foolish."
