So Long ‘Sense8’ – Thanks for the Nudity

This Cancellation Is a Tough One

If you haven't heard by now, then I'm going to be the bearer of bad news: Netflix has canceled Sense8 (2015-2017). Yes, the show that brought you a pretty awesome orgy scene for a non-porn will come to an end. If you need a moment, I totally understand. I needed one as well.

It's hard to put into words why this show was so great and which nude scene was the best. Sure, the orgy will also be near the top of the list, but the Valeria Bilello bathtub scene, all the great Jamie Clayton and Freema Agyeman love scenes, Tina Desai in a bikini... I could just go on and on and on. If you are wondering why in the world Netflix would decide to can this show, here's part of the statement:

"After 23 episodes, 16 cities and 13 countries, the story of the Sense8 cluster is coming to an end,” Cindy Holland, Netflix’s vice president of original content, said in a statement. “It is everything we and the fans dreamed it would be: bold, emotional, stunning, kick ass, and outright unforgettable.”

Even though I heard about this at the beginning of the week, I'm still pretty bummed about it. I really hope that Netflix keeps it online so I can at least go back and watch my favorite episodes again. Man, Netflix, this one cuts deep.
