Tony T. Vs. Nikki Benz/Brazzers Defamation Trial Expected to Happen in 2018

Tony T. Is Seeking a Jury Trial

AVN is reporting that director Tony T.'s defamation case against Brazzers/Brazzers' parent company MindGeek and AVN Hall of Fame performer Nikki Benz will be receiving a jury trial in Los Angeles in early 2018. Performer Ramon Nomar was originally suing Benz and MindGeek alongside T. but according to AVN, Nomar is no longer taking part in the suit.

The suit filed back in January concerns allegations Benz made on social media about being sexually assaulted on set back in December 2016 while being directed by T and performing with T. and Nomar. T. was later released from his contract as a director for Brazzers by MindGeek following Benz's allegations and the company made public statements about what Benz said on social media and about what they believe happened on that porn set. Benz was Brazzers' "brand ambassador" during the scene in question.

T.'s attorney Karen Tynan told AVN that a case management conference regarding the suit is scheduled to take place in May and that T. will be requesting a two-week jury trial to resolve his grievances against Benz and MindGeek.
