The Urban X Awards Have Been Resurrected

The Urban X Awards Are Back!

AVN has reported that The Urban X Awards, which had been inactive as an awards show since 2012 will be taking place later this year. According to the show's website, the 2017 Urban X Awards will take place on Sunday, August 20th at the Stars On Brand nightclub in Glendale, California.

Performers Ana Foxxx and Luna Star will be hosting the show that evening, and Misty Stone will be hosting the evening's red carpet activities. The show itself is being produced by AVN Hall of Famers Alexander DeVoe and Mr. Marcus, Nyomi Banxxx, James Bartholet, and Giana Taylor. Created in 2008, the show itself has always been about celebrating the best of the best in the world of ethnic-themed and interracial-themed porn and its return is truly a positive thing, as the amount of recognition that these titles can receive in the other award shows out there can be more limited. It is truly great news that the show has returned and hopefully it stays around this time. The show is looking for sponsors and fan donations at present.
