Director Tarantino XXX had his latest parody "The Vagnificent 7: A Lesbian Western" nominated for Best Art Direction at the last AVN Awards and he has a new distributor for his parody and foot fetish movies, so expect more from the man this year. He is a director who truly loves and respects the industry he makes his movies in and his movies are made with love.

So how did you decide to take the name Tarantino? Are there any particular movies of his that inspire your work?

"I took the name for two reasons: One because I needed to choose a name for porn that was an attention grabber - if just decided to enter the biz as Adam the new porn director, no one was gonna care - and two, most of my ideas and films are the style of Tarantino's where I'll blend different genres into one story, and pretty much all his films ('Pulp Fiction' was the first one I ever saw when I was 15 years old) where he relies on violence and long dialogue, in Tarantino XXX films I'll do the opposite with sex replacing violence and almost little to no dialogue."

What do you love most about directing parodies?

"You can be very creative with them, and not just adding sex to already established stories - that, I believe, is lazy filmmaking in porn. With porn parodies (which have been around since the 70s), I approach it in the comic book film form like how Marvel, DC, Fox do it, where you have different writers and directors taking characters, stories, universes and blending them into one whole story or maybe different perspectives of original stories. I mean Tarantino did it with his films - if you really study them, he takes materials from other genres and classic films. In today's porn, lots of parodies and filmmakers aren't getting very creative."

So why did you decide to make your "The Magnificent Seven" parody a lesbian feature?

"Because lesbian-themed films are really, really doing well in today's porn world. Fans are really embracing girl/girl as a genre like never before. I remember when I was watching porn in the '90s and Vivid had their 'Where The Boys Aren't' lesbian series. That was one of my favorites. I'm really impressed with what Bree Mills and Stills By Alan are doing with Girlsway and of course, Girlfriends Films and Filly Films have been doing lesbian stuff for a long time also, so it was easy for me to just finally sit down and shoot a girl/girl lesbian parody film. They are so much fun to shoot and so easy I can understand why some female performers love doing girl/girl stuff."

What went into casting the roles in this?

"When I came up with the story of doing of a western parody based on Tarantino's 2015 'Hateful Eight,' which was coming out at the time. I knew I wanted to do with what I had done with my 'Pulp Fiction' parody in which I had taken different Tarantino characters from some of his earlier work and put them in a 'Pulp Fiction' world. So with 'Hateful Eight', I was gonna do the same thing, then I had some discussions with girl/girl performer Lily Cade about it during an awards show and she told me that we should do it as a western lesbian film. From that point on I decided to take female Tarantino characters that I haven't parodied yet. So going into casting I had to choose the right girl that would fit the Tarantino character I decided to use. I do that with all my casting choices. I don't normally go with who's the hottest trendy girl that will sell, I go with who I think will fit that particular role."

Why do you think that westerns are sexy?

"For two reasons, the hero and the villain. They hold so much power; if you go and watch good western films, you can see both hold and showcase true power and that is what I think makes them sexy and also the costumes too."

What are your favorite performances/scenes in this parody?

"The girl/girl/girl three-way featuring Lily Cade, Lotus Lain, and Audrey Noir at the end is my favorite. That scene was amazing to shoot - Lily really knows how to command a scene. I really didn't need to cut at all. I think I cut maybe 2 times. It was great. All 3 women embraced their roles and did a great scene."

What other porn/mainstream directors inspire your work?

"For porn, it all starts with Paul Thomas (he's the director I first noticed when I started watching porn in the '90s), Brad Armstrong (I have also been watching his films since the '90s), Axel Braun, Jonathan Morgan, Will Ryder, Gregory Dark, the late great Fred Lincoln, and Kelly Holland back when she was known as Toni English in the '90s. For mainstream, it starts with Quentin Tarantino (obviously), Robert Rodriguez, David Cronenberg ('The Fly', 'Videodrome'), and John Carpenter. I thank each and every one of those brilliant filmmakers for making the person I am today."

Your foot fetish work is known for being pretty definitive. What about feet and the foot fetish genre do you love most?

"It's one of the most beautiful features on a woman for me and just like the director whose name I use, we both love the look and beauty of a woman's foot. For me, it's such a turn on when a woman is barefoot and naked. The foot fetish genre is a great tool to use when creating content because there are so many fans of feet and they love seeing a woman play with her foot, or a man rubbing licking feet, etc. Being Tarantino XXX, it's a must I shoot foot fetish stuff just as much as the parody stuff."

What else is coming up for you?

"'The Vagnificent 7: A Lesbian Western' is available on DVD now, 'Porn Fiction' will be out on DVD later that month, my film 'Art Sluts' is now out streaming on my website. It's my love letter to '90s porn, and my next feature project 'Luke Cage XXX' is my first foray into comic book porn parody, so be on the lookout for that soon."
