On this episode of "Not The Bradys," young Jan (now played by Dylan Riley) feels neglected by her family, teachers, and—most of all—the boys at her school. Little does Jan know that all she needs to get a little attention (or tickets to a concert, or good grades) is some Pussy Power. And with that skirting-the-edges-of-sexist comment, let the film begin!

Lucky for Jan, bad girl Tanner Mayes shows up at the Brady Compound and wildly masturbates in Jan's bed, which somehow introduces her to the world of mature decisions and sexual favors. Jan realizes that the key to Marcia's success has always been blowjobs, and so her only hope of "being good at something" lies in emulating her big sister.

Meanwhile, everyone else is having sex, looking good in their ‘70s garb, maintaining erections and wholesome imagery, etc. Lexi Belle is the new Marcia, and she fits the role just fine. Her secret romp with the high school quarterback is not only inspirational to the viewer, but to Jan and Cindy as well.

On the male side of things, all is well. James Deen is still adorable as Peter. He somehow manages to look goofy and enthusiastic in the middle of his scene with Tanner, just like good ol' Christopher Knight. Mikey Butders embodies the coy Bobby Brady just as well. His threesome with Ashlyn Rae and Nicole Ray is one of the finest in Brady family history. Except maybe for that one time Alice stumbled into Mr. and Mrs. B's bedroom.

But hey, gang! There are some things more disappointing than Jan's violin playing (insert laugh track here). They still haven't delivered on that real, slow Sam the Butcher/Alice loving, although the characters talk about it non-stop. However, there is a simulated sex scene in which Alice ducks behind the kitchen island and Ron Jeremy pretends to be fellated most comically. Like most of the humor in Will Ryder parodies, this goes until it becomes awkward, keeps going, and then arbitrarily stops.

All in all, it feels like another Will Ryder movie: the sex is very good, the comedy is very bad, and everyone can feel ok about the lack of Brady-on-Brady boinking. The whole Pussy Power thing is something to think about. We always wondered how Carol convinced a man to take her and her three daughters in; "much more than a hunch" indeed.

X-Play's newest film (following last week's "Monday Night Football") continues the company's diversification into porn comedies that aren't based on a particular show. This one draws broadly from "Airplane!" with a healthy dose of Jim Holliday's ensemble pornos of the 90's (Holliday gets namechecked in the movie) as well as Digital Playground's recent successes in occupational porn, "Cheerleaders," "Babysitters," "Nurses," and "Teachers."

A co-production with Adam & Eve like last year's Zero Tolerance/A&E matchup "Rollerdollz," "Flight Attendants" tries so hard to please that it collapses with the effort. Such a large cast means not enough room for everyone to shine, and the story is so needlessly convoluted that you will actually become stupider while watching it.

Q. But Grams, surely you're not saying that you would fault a porn movie for a poorly-executed story. Isn't sex all that matters?
A. While sex is all that matters, at least at this point in our lives, you should probably just buy ten copies of "Flight Attendants," watch each one, and feel your IQ drop by ten points each time. Then you will be this movie's target audience, and will support X-Play's future filmic endeavors.

Multiple uses of flashbacks and dream sequences are neither effective nor funny, the theme song is grating, and the numerous gay and black/urban poor jokes made by and at the expense of performer James Bartholet and openly black performer Misty Stone try too hard to be outrageous and fall flat. It was often amazing how "Flight Attendants" made two subjects that are normally hilarious - race and sexual orientation - unfunny while trying to be "broad."

Speaking of broad, let's talk about the sex.

X-Play has assembled an all-star cast and we slog through way too much plot before any cast members commence to fucking. While there are standout scenes between Shyla Stylez and Randy Spears, the newly-returned Hillary Scott and Barry Scott (no relation), and Kayden Kross and Evan Stone, we don't see nearly enough of Sunny Lane, Eva Angelina, Teagan Presley, or Lexi Love. And, in an industry where people don't need much of an excuse to have sex, "Flight Attendants" manages to strain credulity.

I think X-Play in particular and parodies in general need to take a vacation.

We know the recent difficulty of making money in porn, and part of the current marketing strategy involves having numerous products on the shelves. X-Play is also playing two sides of the field by releasing movies through distributors Adam & Eve as well as Hustler. But it seems that a company that can make such note-perfect parodies like "Not Married with Children" and "Not the Cosby Show" may have extended its reach this time; "Flight Attendants" did not need to be bad.

It's one thing to parody a sitcom, but parodying an American institution like Monday Night Football requires both a solid sense of humor as well as serious focus on fucking. The challenge for XPlay is even greater with this parody because there are no protagonists to ground the plot, and no classic conflicts to spice up with sex. As a result, "Not Monday Night Football XXX" features an amalgamation of sportscasting legends doing what makes them memorable.

Rick Madrid plays the staccato-voiced Howard Cosell, who commands the preview show that the film is based around. He is joined by John Madden, played by Billy Goodrich, who spends time with fans, draws on the telestrator, and pimps tough-actin' Tinactin.

True to life, celebrities stop by to plug their latest projects/remind us of their scandals. OJ Simpson has his future read (keep in mind this is the 80s OJ), causing the fortune teller to flee the scene. Bill Cosby (manned by the same Thomas Ward who starred in "Not The Cosbys XXX") shows up as well, followed by a furious Laci Laine who demands Cosby leave his wife for her.

Although these allusions provide amusing intermissions from sex, they feel more like piecemeal potshots and less like parodies of the events they reference. Poking fun at the gimmicky, self-serving habits of a major network is clever, but without a strong, over-arching plot to center the jokes, the parody becomes a gimmick itself.

And like most parody porn, there's a clear distinction between the amusing and the arousing. There was one instance of Madden using the telestrator to discuss his favorite things about Angelina Armani (boobs, eyes, long, flowing hair), but it would've been doubly as funny to see him narrate an instant replay, telestrating the path of Eric John's cock as four cheerleaders tackle him in the locker room. Perhaps a "BAM!" or two would've been appropriate.

But there really isn't much to complain about. The simple fact that seventeen girls cram into five separate scenes is a daunting feat. With such an enormous cast, one might wonder how parody prince Will Ryder manages to coach this dreamteam to glory.

The answer? Teamwork: four gals for every gent, and no one hits the sidelines when the action is on. There's no showboating, no ball hogging, and the fans go wild for every play (seriously, there's non-stop cheering). Also, since every sex scene features a POV moment, viewers at home get to feel like they're part of the team! The sportsmanship is simply awe-inspiring.

Of course, there are a few star players. Evan Stone and Angelina Armani have the only one-on-one scene as the legendary quarterback Manhattan Joe and some floozy. He helps her get her foot in the door as a sideline reporter, so she helps him get his cock in her mouth.

Also exciting is the fact that Yurizan Beltran has her first non-solo scene. Yurizan, Lela Star, Mai Ly, and Alyssa Reece get bored watching the game at home, so they decide to ditch the remote and grab the vibrators. "Not Married With Children XXX": An Abundance Of Kelly Bundy

"Not Married with Children XXX" is just about the perfect porn parody in that all the things you found frustrating about the 90's-era Fox show on which it is based (Christina Applegate not getting naked, a certain curiosity about the nakedness of Katey Sagal) come miraculously to pass in its dirty adaptation.

Kagney Linn Karter, Brittany O'Connell, and especially Eric Swiss are perfectly cast as Kelly, Peg, and Al Bundy, respectively, and the source material that for many typified all that was bad about the newish Fox Network ("The Simpsons" parodied "Married with Children" by showing Al Bundy flushing a toilet to a laugh track) actually works in a porn setting.

Eric Swiss as Al Bundy is pretty amazing. He looks genuinely slovenly and one-ups last month's "Not the Cosbys XXX" star Thomas Ward in that he actually has sex. But both are spot-on impersonations and, like "Cosby," "Not Married with Children XXX" features a script that is just as good (or bad) as the original.

As adept as screenwriter Jeff Mullen has become at aping sitcom dialogue, co-producer Scott David admirably recreates the "Married with Children" set, and is especially accurate with the costumes for the Bundy family. Kagney Linn Karter, for example, looks every bit the approachable whore that Christina Applegate's Kelly was.

The plot concerns Al's attempt to become king of his shoe store, Bud (Dane Cross)'s marginalization in the family, and Kelly's dalliances with the wrong kind of men. In other words, this is a plot and script that would have been perfect for the Ed O'Neill version.

Some of the mainstream programs the Porno-Industrial Complex is choosing to parody are so obscure (and, just as often, unknown to the teenagers performing in them) that it's a possibility that a broadcast network show could be developed from the cleaned up porn parody of a forgotten 90's sitcom. If Fox picked up 22 episodes of "Not Married with Children XXX," I would watch it.

"Not The Cosbys XXX": All That And A Jello Pudding Pop

"Not The Cosbys XXX" may just be our most hotly anticipated porn of 2009. Growing up in the eighties, "The Cosby Show" was a big deal—and we were also thrilled to see more black people in mainstream porn.

So it's with a heavy heart that we must admit that our biggest reaction to "Not The Cosbys" was, well, disappointment. It wasn't the central cast, or the quality of the sex scenes, or the plot, or Thomas Ward as Cliff Huxtable—no, all those things were quite stellar, actually. The thing that left us less than thrilled was actually a (seemingly) minor thing: there were just too many white people in the film.

Now, we're not naive, and we are familiar with porn's...interesting take on race; more to the point, we know that it was already a big deal for X-Play/Hustler to back a project with an all black headlining cast. But was it too much to ask for them to just run with that, and give us a predominantly black "Not The Cosbys"? Apparently so: of the six sex scenes, only one features black-on-black love (well, two if you count Misty Stone's masturbation scene).

But we should tell you more about the things we actually liked about the film.

As with his previous "sitcums," Will Ryder successfully recreates the feel of "The Cosby Show"—especially with the casting of Thomas Ward as Heathcliff Huxtable, clearly a role he was born to play (the man's a shoo-in for Best Non-Sex Performance at the 2010 AVN Awards). The plot, too, is reasonably Cosby-ish: Denise struggles with whether or not to lose her virginity to her boyfriend Malik, Cockroach and Theo sneak into a sexy slumber party, and the family takes a trip to Hillman (our fingers are crossed in the hopes that "Not The Cosbys 2" includes some "A Different World" crossover).

And then, of course, there's the sex: first up is the aforementioned Denise (Misty Stone) masturbation scene (clearly intended to relieve some of the stress of her virginity-related angst). Next we find ourselves following Denise and her boyfriend Malik (Dick James) to a co-ed sleepover, which naturally turns out to be an all out orgy. Uncomfortable with the pressure to perform, Denise leaves—and, of course, her boyfriend stays, and wild sex ensues.

And this is where the feature takes its first—and biggest—misstep. It's an unwritten rule of porn parodies that the more invented characters a porn parody relies on, the weaker it is; so to have the first major sex scene entirely populated with invented characters (and predominantly white ones, at that) is a big strike against the feature.

Thankfully, the rest of the scenes manage to include at least one Cosby character in the mix. Scene Three finds Theo (Tyler Knight) and Cockroach (Tee Real) heading back to the sleepover/orgy, where Theo gets it on with stripper Charmaine (Tori Black); Scene Four is a flashback to Claire's (Monica Foster) time at Hillman, with Danny Mountain as her college boyfriend; Scene Five pairs Vanessa (Melody Nakai) and Cockroach (Tee Real), for some much anticipated all black sex; and, capping it all off, Denise loses her virginity (on her parents' bed, no less!) to Patrick (Scott Lyons) in the very final scene.

In the same way that "The Cosby Show" helped white families across America welcome a middle class black family into their homes, we'd been hoping that "Not The Cosbys XXX" would help white porn consumers enjoy the pleasures of all black love. Alas, it seems we raised our hopes too high. But hey, a big studio feature with this many black performers is still nothing to sneeze at. Here's hoping it's the first step in a more colorful future of porn.

Whatever your feelings on the unending onslaught of "sitcums," there's one thing you can't deny: "Three's Company" was pretty much asking to be reborn as a porno.

And, given the inevitability of it all, we're glad to know that the project landed in such capable hands, with Will Ryder (of course) in the director's chair, and the alluring Crush Object Penny Flame in the role of Janet. John Ritter may be rolling in his grave right now—but at least the rest of us can look forward to promising porn movie. (At least we think it looks promising. Check out the trailer for yourself!)

"This Aint the Partridge Family XXX" Delivers Handily

That goofy Danny is at it again, hosting the kinds of kinky love orgies you always fantasized about while watching the show. Buckle up for a blast from the past porno style!

Director Will Ryder is to the porn parody what Alexander Graham Bell is to the telephone — whether he invented them or not, he's going down in history as the man who did. Having knocked it out of the park with his Britney Spears and J-Lo spoofs, he followed up with the record shattering "Not the Brady's XXX" franchise. You may have heard about it –- on Entertainment Tonight amongst other places.

Ryder has replicated all the pertinent details in his re-imagining – right down to the patchwork cubist minibus boldly emblazoned with primary colors and those sweet kitschy polyester pants. He even threw in the sign reading "Nervous Mother Driving." Rumor has it that, as a real fan of the show, he obsessively studied every detail of the show to make a realistic parody that the original cast could, hypothetically, be proud to sit down and watch themselves. Once he got the props and storyline straight, he set out to find the perfect cast.

Nick Manning makes an even more sullen Keith Partridge, Payton Leigh plays Shirley, Penthouse Pet Tori Black plays sister Laurie, and Fleshbot Crush Object Faye Reagan plays younger sister Tracy, while notable hottie Penthouse Pet Runner Up of the Year and Fleshbot Crush Object Shawna Lenee plays the sexy lead groupie. Kudos to Ryder for interweaving sustainable plot points with incendiary sex scenes with some of the hottest girls currently working in adult entertainment. One look and you'll know why this guy is succeeding so wildly. His ability can be summed up in a word: efficacy.

The Second Time's A Charm: "Not The Bradys: Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!"

Now that the market is glutted with "Not The" and "This Ain't" XXX titles rehashing our favorite sitcoms as honest-to-goodness porns, it can be hard to remember that it wasn't always this way—that there was, in fact, a very first "Not The" porn, one that changed the way we think of hardcore parodies. Yes, just over a year ago, "Not The Bradys XXX" descended on the porniverse, changing the face of porn parody forever. Now, that epic porn has spawned a sequel: "Not The Bradys XXX: Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" But does "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" have the charms of its predecessor?

Despite some casting changes (most notably, Teagan Presley replacing Hillary Scott as Marcia), "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" manages to hold on to much of what made the first "Not The Bradys" work so well: it is, quite literally, like watching an episode of "The Brady Bunch," only with a whole lot of sex. Campy humor and silly puns abound, the kids get into various scrapes, Marcia idolizes a rock star, and the whole family comes together to sing in a contest. Oh, and there are many, many sex scenes, almost all of which manage to be tied into the "plot," if somewhat tenuously.

Attentive Fleshbot readers may remember that, back in July, Teagan Presley retired from boy-girl hardcore scenes. "Not The Bradys XXX:" was shot mere months before that announcement, making it among Teagan's last boy-girl scenes. So there you have it: not only is this good porn, it's also a significant piece of pornorabilia. Like you need more reason to buy it?
