Love Bunnies: Facebook Sex Toys Make Your Profile Even More Self Indulgent

As if Facebook weren't enough of a giant circle jerk already, the marital aid impresarios at LoveHoney have come up with what they're calling "the world's first Facebook sex toy". Although you can "change your Love Bunny's mood" and annoy turn on your friends by getting them to install the application and "flirting" with their Love Bunnies, the main thing it seems to do is sit there on your profile and look cute—that is, unless you decide to buy one of the company's real-life Love Bunny vibrators too, which will come complete with its own name and birth certificate. Talk about giving Facebook pokes a whole new meaning. More »

With Love From The Cheeto Fucker

Here's a conversation you might find yourself having later today:

"So have you seen that nine-minute video of the guy fucking a giant Cheeto that's made out of a bunch of little Cheetos?"

"OMG, yes! What was that all about?"

"I don't know. The internet is weird."

Yeah, we don't get it either. But to be fair, he's not really fucking the Cheeto so much as he's making sweet, sweet love to it. It's kind of romantic, actually. Even if it is completely and totally out-of-this-world insane.

Wikipedia Is Filled With Hardcore Porn! [citation needed]

As you may be aware, Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia that is written and edited by nerds who do all the work for free in an attempt to gather all human knowledge into one comprehensive database. But according to the conservative bulldog World Net Daily, it is also a repository for salacious, hardcore pornographic material. Like strippers! Gay homosexual sex! And titty fucking! In fact, they might as well start selling monthly subscriptions and buying ads in AVN Online! Check out their list of moral-destroying smut that's totally accessible to everyone ... More »

Deep Inside Zivity: What Kind Of Porn Site Does $7 Million Buy?

We've been itching for a chance to peek inside the members' section of Zivity ever since we heard about their $7 million in funding, since nothing gets us more worked up than a throbbing, swollen seven figure price tag. Okay, actually we've been itching for a chance to peek inside since we heard that there would be naked models there too ... but all that cold hard capital made things all the more intriguing. Just what kind of porn site can you make with $7 million anyway? What kind of masturbatory wonders does that kind of money buy?

Well, eight months after it first started making headlines we finally managed to score an invite to the Zivity beta site, and now we can tell you: not very much.

Gene Simmons Addresses The "Incident" From his official website: "Hi everyone. You may have heard or seen garbage that has sprung up from my past. Rest assured the proper legal team is looking at all ramifications and options ... All is well." Why so harsh? It's not the best sex tape ever, but we wouldn't necessarily call it "garbage." Why Does Digg Hate Porn?

(See update below.) Fans of the Digg phenomenon know how valuable it is for any site to get a link featured on the social bookmarking behemoth. That's why our fellow Gawker Media siblings are constantly sending out emails asking us to check out their Digged stories ... emails that we immediately delete. You see, to us gentle pornsmiths, a Digg button is little more than a useless hunk of code, one that automatically rejects any submission deemed "obscene" or "pornographic"—i.e., any link that includes Fleshbot.com as part of the URL. Sex Toy TechWatch: Introducing Twitterdildonics

In case merely looking at sexy furniture pics was leaving you a bit frustrated, you might be interested in this interview starring Fleshbot Gal Friday Violet Blue (we're not sure which version), who went booty-to-booty with Slashdong's qDot at SXSW in Austin last week to unveil his latest teledildonic invention: the Twitterdildonic sofa, which uses a text feed from the already buzzworthy Twitter miniblogging service in conjunction with a software-engineered Rez Trance Vibrator to create the world's "first augmented reality couch". Even though he modestly calls his new tech mashup "completely useless", qDot has supplied the source code for anyone who wants to rig up one of these to replace that old Barcalounger in the living room—though all it takes is one look at Violet's face while she's sitting on the prototype during the interview to convince us that IKEA needs to start mass production on these things immediately. Who knows—it might even make sitting there looking at boring celebrity sex tapes all evening something to actually look forward to! More »

Google Spanks The Little Guys (Update)

2006_12_27_google.jpg Thanks to the several readers who wrote in to let us know that as of today, most (though not all) of the sites referenced in yesterday's post about something rotten in the state of Googleland where the sex blog and indie porn scene was concerned have been restored to their rightful place in Google's search results. As one reader said,
"I've been in the tech industry for many years and I'm wondering if we have an occurrence of what we used to call 'Xmas Software Flu' - where the office newbie (tapped to work through Xmas) is told to 'install that new module when things are quiet' - and royally f*cks it up? Given what Renato Silveiro reported in the BoingBoing version of the article (Google's indexing engine tearing his bandwidth a new one), I'm inclined to believe there were frantic phone calls in the Google neighborhood - including phrases like 'it's doing what? How f*cking often?'."
We may never know whether the glitch was accidental or intentional on Google's part, or whether the sites still affected by what we've heard referred to as the "Google gulag" will start showing up in search results again soon; we're just glad things seem to have resolved themselves in a happy ending for at least some of the parties involved. For now, anyway. More »
