We still have to hold up our end of the bargain. Last week's contest produced some pretty astounding superheroes. All of the entries were certainly Stan Lee-worthy, and would undoubtedly make for some interesting hentai (future job, anyone?).

Comic books have long struggled to break free from the notion that they're written strictly for kids, and their writers have often tried to craft stories intended for adults. But even that doesn't begin to explain what was going on in Action Comics #592 and #593, when Superman was hypnotized and forced to star in an underground porn video. Yes, Superman did porn! Comic book blog Living Between Wednesdays has all the steamy details from DC's late-80s attempt to put the action back in Action Comics, which really has to be seen to be believed—including the surprising revelation that once that camera starts rolling The Man of Steel is apparently anything but. We're not sure what it says about a super-villain who has total mind control over the world's greatest hero and the only thing he can think to do with that power is film a low-budget skin flick, but we do take issue with the producer's assertion that no one would be interested in a Superman "solo act."
