Boink: The Book

Regular readers of Fleshbot know that we're big fans of Boston University's Boink, which is pretty much the only one of the much-ballyhooed bunch of college sex magazines to hit the streets a couple of years ago that we're happy to keep on our coffee table: it's smart, sexy, and features some truly hot erotic photography. So we were happy to find out that it'll be gracing our coffee tables in a more permanent form with the publication of "Boink: College Sex By The People Having It" next month, a 272 page ~~hardcover~~ book featuring "never-before-published true stories, prescriptive advice, graphic confessions, and no-holds-barred nude pictures of real university students (not the fake 'college co-eds' all over the internet)." (And yes, we just lifted all that from the press release; we want to get back to ogling those no-holds-barred nude pictures of real university students as quickly as possible, so you'll excuse us if we don't have time to get too creative with this post.)

Nancy Benoit Exposed (25 Years Ago, That Is)

Far be it for us to question Larry Flynt's publishing decisions, but we have to wonder about the level of interest out there (not to mention taste) for decades-old nude pics of Nancy Benoit, the slain wife of pro wrestler Chris Benoit. The photos date from a modeling audition video that Nancy made in the early 80s before she started her own pro wrestling career and will be published in Hustler's March 2008 issue. Surely there has to be some juicy photos floating around out there of "celebrity" models who are a little more well known to the general public—not to mention, you know, alive—that Hustler can use to help move those issues off the stand, though if you have an especially morbid fascination with dead wrestling stars or a taste for big-haired 80s babes we suppose you might look forward to seeing the pics. You know who you are.

Ever wanted to know the real deal behind all those "private" celebrity sex videos that mysteriously wind up on store shelves behind glossy packaging? If sex tape broker Kevin Blatt's book proposal finds a publisher, we may have a chance to find out. Taschen's "New Erotic Photography"

The art connoisseurs at Radar get a juicy sneak peek at Taschen's latest coffee table extravaganza, "The New Erotic Photography", in which co-curators Dian Hanson and Eric Kroll (himself no slouch when it comes to producing sexy nudes of his own) collect the best work of 82 photographers from around the world and remind us once again that "you can't spall TASCHEN without T & A!" (Their words, not ours.) Clocking it at over 600 pages, the book looks to be a welcome addition to the Fleshbot Central library of fine art babery and we're fairly frothing at the mouth in anticipation of our very own copy—because if there's one thing we like more than looking at boobs on our computer screen all day long, it's looking at boobs while we lounge in our leather recliner while sipping an extra dry Tanqueray martini with our hounds at our feet as a fire crackles gently in the hearth beside us. (Or sitting on the sofa in our underwear sucking down the dregs of a warm PBR, as the case may be. Still, we don't want you to give you the impression that we sit here in our underwear looking at boobs on the computer all the time.)
