Because we want to be totally "down" with what the young people are "into" these days, we went to the library to find a book about "emo" culture—but there weren't any. So we had to look it up on Wikipedia. We learned that emo girls like to dye their hair black, comb it down over their face, and then listen to sensitive rock bands who are really in touch with their feelings. (Or something like that.) We also discovered that this doesn't necessarily mean that they're depressed or moody or about to cut you (or themselves) with a knife, which is good to know! It took a totally different site, however, to teach us that some of these girls like to take naked self-portraits ... and that certain other people really, really like that too.

Naked Emo Girls (the blog) has only been in business a month, but it makes up for its relative lack of archives with a whole lot of enthusiasm for finding naked emo girls online. It probably adds to the excitement that the girls are mostly amateurs—and it's comforting to know that the site claims to feature only models who are of legal age. But the totally best part is that you don't have to know a thing about emo culture to enjoy it! So put on an old Frank Sinatra 78 and check it out.

F. Scott Fitzgerald (a writer who we've never had occasion to reference on Fleshbot until this very moment) famously said that there are no second acts in American lives. Call us old-fashioned, but we haven't exactly jumped on the widget bandwagon here at Fleshbot despite our enthusiasm for all things shiny and technological: why bother cluttering up our desktop or website with dozens of mini-applications that display dirty pictures or inform us of updates to our favorite sex sites when we have a perfectly good collection of bookmarks and RSS feeds (not to mention more than enough dirty pictures on our hard drives) to do the jobs for us?

Still, there's no accouting for people's fascination with making their blogs and MySpace pages even more annoying—and for any aspiring webmasters who believe their visitors deserve to have the latest updates from dozens of sex- and porn-related blogs from all over the interweb right there in their already overcrowded sidebars, there's a wide selection of widgets to play with in the 'Sex' section of Widgetbox.com. The selections are really nothing more than RSS feeds repackaged into a customizeable graphical interface, and though we still fail to see how including more code to slow down your site can somehow enhance your viewers' experience it's a convenient way to present automatically updated blog headline feeds on your site if you really want them to be there and don't have the geek savvy to figure out how to put them there yourself. (Now that we think of it, maybe creating a Fleshbot widget might not be such a bad idea after all—though given the kind of feedback we've been getting over the last few days, maybe we should hold off on springing any new surprises on the world at large for the time being.)
