Darenzia Does Bettie, We Swoon
Though we were were saddened by the passing of pinup queen Bettie Page, the subsequent trend of Bettie Page tributes certainly helped to brighten our day—especially the ones featuring Darenzia. More » -

Need a break from the Sarah Palin porn-o-rama? This Wednesday, New York City's Museum of Sex will be unveiling Fleshbot Crush Object Molly Crabapple's politics, a piece that breaks our nation's past time down to its most basic level: a full-on animal orgy. You can probably figure out who gets fucked. (museumofsex.com) -

Dr. Sketchy's Gets Drunk On Absinthe
We've heard rumors about the crazy things that absinthe can do, but we had no idea that it was capable of turning mild-mannered burlesque performers into wild, nearly naked absinthe fairies. Last weekend, Le Tourment Vert took over New York City's venerable burlesque life drawing salon Dr Sketchy's Anti-Art School ... and from we hear, no one escaped unscathed. Pictures of the madness after the jump. More » -

Exploring The "Demimonde" With Molly Crabapple
The last time we found ourselves enjoying the hospitality of Fleshbot crush object Molly Crabapple, we were at the Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art Show, a fabulous night of gogo girls, debauchery ... and, yes, art. This Friday, Molly's back in the art spotlight with "Demimonde," a solo show at New York's Arena Studios curated by friend of Fleshbot Audacia Ray. We stopped by the gallery last night for a preview of her work (and a chat with Buck Angel, who happens to be featured in one of the portraits). Click through for a preview gallery of Molly's art, and be sure to stop by Arena Studios this Friday at 7pm for the opening reception. (And a session of sexy burlesque life drawing. It's not just about culture, you know.) More » -

Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art Finds Its Opening
Tired of all those stuffy, pretentious gallery openings where nobody has any fun? Feeling the need for some sex, booze, and pasties? Look no further than Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art Show, which has graduated from naughty art class to naughty art exhibition. Curated by long-time Crush Object Molly Crabapple, the show runs from November 21 to December 20 at Rapture Cafe in New York City, and features some of the best (and, we might add, hottest) work produced at Dr. Sketchy's sessions from around the globe. Those who are really needing a debauchery fix, should stop by the opening party on November 27, because everyone knows that art is more powerful when surrounded by liquor and hot babes. More » -

Dr. Sketchy's Salon Takes Over Brooklyn
We thought Fleshbot crush object Molly Crabapple had hit the peak of artsyysexycool with Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School, her biweekly (and occasionally bicoastal) cabaret-meets-life drawing session at NYC's Lucky Cat. After all, what could be cooler than a combination of booze, art, and hot burlesque models? But this past weekend, Ms. Crabapple proved us wrong and went one step further with Dr. Sketchy's Salon, an art party held in a Williamsburg loft. In addition to the usual Dr. Sketchy's trappings, the salon featured more models, more games, cupcakes, dinner, bodypainting, and hookah smoking than you could shake your pencil at. Kicking yourself for missing it? Fear not: Crabapple and her crew are planning another one for early next year. And who knows? Someday it might even be coming to a hipster neighborhood near you.
