So, uh, what would it take to get you guys to tattoo the Fleshbot logo on your arms? (telegraph.co.uk)

(New incentives to visit, we mean, like gas rebates and rate reductions. Guess the other kinds of incentives they've always been offering needed a little help.) (Even if it is a little derivative.) Parking the bus a block from the Miami Beach Police Department? Not quite as brilliant. (local10.com - thanks, Rick)

<![CDATA[Sex Tourism With Rio Joe]]> Until his first trip to decadent Rio de Janeiro in 2003, sex tourist and freelance writer Joe Diamond thought Copacabana was just a song by Barry Manilow. But after several return trips as well as stops in brothels and assorted subequatorial fleshpots, Diamond came to a realization he could have learned at home in New York: Hookers don't really love you. That said, his blog full of adventures as a sex tourist provide anecdotes, tips, and no small share of heartbreak.

<![CDATA[The Great Brothels Of Germany: A Photo Tour]]> In most places, employing the services of a sex worker usually means a seedy hotel room rented by the hour or, in a pinch, the backseat of moving cab. And those are the nice alternatives. In other parts of the world, however, where brothels are allowed to exist and thrive, the "offices" can get pretty fancy and elaborate—sometimes they're downright cute! In a project reminiscent of some previous Japanese excursions, photographer Patric Fouads took a tour of some the finer brothels in Germany and came back with a collection of unique and interesting photos, snapped in the bedrooms where fantasies are made and paid for. And if you want to pretend like you're in Japan, you can always find a place for that too.

<![CDATA[Paying To Play: Yay Or Nay?]]> There we were, innocently cruising around the webs for any sign of an exposed nipple, when we accidentally got sucked into the latest flareup in one of the oldest debates there is—should prostitution be legalized? Like we said, this argument has been going on forever and will likely continue for just as long, but recent editorials and some motivated blog postings have got people fired up again and with enough thoughtfulness to get us to temporarily stop staring and actually read something. Obviously, bad things happen to sex workers, in both legal and illegal environments, but is the answer more regulation, none at all, or a smashing of the male-penile enslavement hierarchy that has subjugated females since cavemen still carried clubs? Then again, believe it or not ... some people just like to fuck.

We don't have time or space to hash out all the arguments here, but we are curious what you think. Actually, we know exactly what you think, but we'd still like to have something concrete to put in the files. And if you care at all about sex positive feminism, human rights, economics, or just finding someone to blow you at a reasonable cost, the links below (and their comments) are definitely all worth checking out. So what'll it be?

<![CDATA[Jean-Christian Bourcart's "Infertile Madonnas": Deep Inside The Brothels Of Frankfurt]]> Fifteen years ago, French artist Jean-Christian Bourcart spent a week sneaking around Franfurt brothels with a camera concealed under his jacket to take pictures of things he wasn't supposed to photograph (= the inside of Frankfurt brothels); he tells us that he also carried a Colt for protection, and that the pimps eventually caught on to what he was doing, though he doesn't mention if things got sticky enough to have to deal with the latter using the former. The result is his "Infertile Madonnas" series, which show us that (surprise!) certain brothels are just as workaday, lurid, depressing, and/or occasionally surreal as you probably think they are. Good thing many of his photos stand as works of art in their own right, else he would've risked pissing off all those angry pimps to show us stuff we already know.
