CherryTV Vs. The Frisky: Who Talks The Better Sex?

Because good things always happen in pairs (insert your metaphor of choice here), this past month saw the launch of not one but two ladies-talking-about-the-sexy-sex sites: CherryTV and The Frisky. As you might have guessed from the name, CherryTV (above) is one of those "internet television" websites we've been hearing so much about. Videos are broken down into two categories: "Cherry Dish," where the ladies of CherryTV give their opinions on a wide range of topics (from faking orgasms to how to reach the best orgasm to whether vibrators numb your ability to orgasm), and "Fresh Advice," where sexy sexperts (including the frequently Fleshbotted Jamye Waxman) teach CherryTV viewers the ins and outs of better banging.

The Frisky (below) is a little different. Though it claims to be a "daily romp on the sexy side," its broader focus (which covers exciting and heretofore untouched territory like celebrities and fashion!) makes it feel a bit like "Cosmo" for the blog generation. (It had to happen sometime, right?) Still, we do have to give them at least some credit for running that bacon bra photo we featured last week. Anyone who likes boobs and cured pork products as much as we do can't be all bad.

But take heart: if you wear high heels, you may actually be working your pelvic floor muscles just by walking around. Preview: Candida Royalle's "Under the Covers"

It's been four years since grand dame of porn-for-women Candida Royalle made her last film, so it's pretty exciting to see what she's got up her sleeve this time around. "Under the Covers" features a few faces (and bodies) you may have seen around Fleshbot a few times, including the perpetually smiley Sexy Sativa as well as longtime Joe Gallant muse Erika Kole. There is a link to the movie's trailer in the right hand sidebar of Candida's very slick new website (we can't tell you how glad we were to see the nineties-throwback pink of her last site go the way of the Zip drive), in which in addition to admiring the stars and the sets, you can hear something very strange: actual dialogue! DVD: Petra Joy's "Female Fantasies"

Despite the fact that we wholeheartedly support indie porn productions that make different looking smut, we can't help but roll our eyes a little when someone starts going on and on about "porn for women"—like men can't appreciate well-shot productions featuring sexy models who look (and fuck) like real people and not porn star caricatures? Snark aside, UK director Petra Joy's second film "Female Fantasies" looks so good we could eat it, or at least lick our screens: the action is hardcore, the performers look like they're enjoying themselves, and it's shot in an artful way that still doesn't prevent you from seeing everything you expect to enjoy in a porn movie. Whoever's fantasy it is, we're digging it.- AR
