We're now a few months into the Mark Healy Era—the former GQ editor who took over Penthouse with the mission to bring the skin rag back to prominence—and the results are starting to show through. The magazine is already taking on a more gentlemanly air, while still finding a way to do a little "emphasizing of the genitals," so to speak. The quest takes a big step forward in the July issue with major scores in front of and behind the camera. The red-hot Sasha Grey takes centerstage as the Pet of the Month, but perhaps the even bigger coup was landing uber-photographer Terry Richardson to shoot her. Working for the mag for the first time ever, he adds his signature erotic style to the traditional centerfold layout—a centerfold that takes another technological leap forward as the first-ever perforated pinup that you can actually, you know ... pin up without shredding it to pieces first. It's an innovation that's long overdue and the whole package will certainly help raise the Penthouse profile once again.
