"You should write about Fred Harper," a friend told us. "His art has lots of naked body parts — large-penised gentlemen and bulging boobs galore!" Clearly, this is a friend who knows us well. As promised, Fred's paintings and drawings do feature more than a few large-penised gentlemen and bulging boobs (though not large penised gentlemen with bulging titties, mind you — we'll have to go elsewhere for that). It also features cyborgs, dismembered bodies, and plenty of other random meta-metaphysical and surrealist touches. It's like the erotic art of the past combined with the porn of the future. Oh, and did we mention there are lots of bulging boobs?

Ben Wittner's Surreal Life

German photographer Ben Wittner's photos seamlessly mix the surreal and the ordinary, combining everyday scenes of comfortable nudity with slightly (and sometimes not-so-slightly) bizarre details—a bathtub in a tree, headphones casually slipped over someone's naughty bits—painting a picture of a strange, yet oddly alluring, world. We're not entirely sure what he's trying to say in some of these tableaus, but we're all ears. (Maybe slipping some headphones over our own naughty bits would help us hear a little better?)

Deep Inside Nena Blue

Speaking of press releases this morning, we seem to have missed the one telling us about the newish erotic photography emporium Nena Blue (no relation to Violet, as far as we know), which has been popping up on several of our favorite blogs and other places we go to scope out sexy content this week. And with good reason, too: the subscription-based site (with a generous free preview area) showcases erotic work by dozens of photographers from all over the world, with a particular emphasis on the surreal, the baroque, and the symbolic. So what if some of their English language content is imperfectly translated, or if their blog isn't translated at all, or if some of their pages don't display properly in Safari (though other browsers seem to work fine)? With a collection of photos this hot to sift through, it's not like we'd be paying much attention to the text or layout anyway.

Richard ChauDavis' "No-Tell Motel": Wish You Were Here!

Remember the time you picked up that middle-aged swinger couple in an airport lounge in Dayton and went back to their room at the Ramada, dropped some acid, and spent the rest of the evening having sex all over the polyester comforter on their bed? Well, San Diego photographer Richard ChauDavis has captured the vibe perfectly in his "'Room Service' (Images from the No-Tell Motel)" series, in which various ghostly naked forms disport themselves in an environment that's one part amateur porn photo album, one part "Jacob's Ladder", and wholly disconcerting. (And if by chance you haven't had any experiences involving hallucinogens and middle-aged swinger orgies ... well, now you know what we've been through more times than we're willing to admit. But we'll save our own gory details for another post.)

(Very Strange) Art By Billy Reynolds

When we say that Billy Reynolds' pantings are full of things like bouncing boobs and plump, succulent buttocks, please don't think he's just another cheesecake or pinup artist: those boobs are as likely to be attached to Marge Simpson or Wilma Flintstone as they are sprouting from someone's forehead or heaped with a bunch of other body parts and miscellaneous orifices on a bed. Unless you're accustomed to watching porn on peyote (Ed note: who isn't?), you probably won't find much that's erotic about them, though art history geeks can at least get off to the allusions to artists like Picasso, Hans Bellmer, and Philip Guston that pepper his portfolio. And as for any readers who want to know what Lois Griffin really looks like with no clothes on ... well, look no further.

French photographer Guy Le Baube's impressive resumé should tip you off right away that he's no sleazy cheesecake hack, no siree: "An award winning photographer, highly esteemed for his editorial work in world renowned fashion magazines, his photography has been seen in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Marie-Claire ... Guy Le Baube's photographs reveal a sensibility that lies between the sexiness of Helmut Newton and the playfulness of Jacques-Henri Lartigue." In fact, if his portfolio wasn't full of things like naked Amazonian supermodels posing with things like dogs, masks, garter belts, and thigh-high mesh stockings, we might've thought it was a little too highfalutin for poor shlubs like us. As it stands, though, the copious boobage makes it all very approachable. We may not know much about art, but we do happen to know a nice pair of tits when we see them.
