Naturally, we escorted Stoya dearest to the 2009 XBIZ Awards on Thursday, because we are super cool and that's how we roll. Adam & Eve contract stars Kayden Kross & Bree Olson hosted the event, which was a blast by all accounts. We're still recovering from all the fun we packed into that night... it will probably take the rest of this venereal weekend.

Stoya Is The Winner... Again!

Last night marked the occasion of the 2009 XBiz Awards ceremony—and, as with every other awards ceremony we've seen in recently memory, it was a night when Fleshbot Supreme Commandress Stoya walked away a winner.

True, there were other awards handed out (we're sure you'll all be thrilled to know that CCBill was named Billing Company of the Year), but it was Stoya's award for New Starlet of the Year that really got us going. We're so proud of our Supreme Commandress... and her many, many successes. So here's to many more awards—we have a feeling if she continues to shower the world with performances like her turn in "Jack's POV 13," she'll have no trouble winning all six billion of us over to the Stoya Fan Club.

The AVN Awards may be big, and grand, and attention getting, but they're hardly the only adult industry awards out there. If the AVN Awards are the porn world's Oscars, the XBIZ Awards might be seen as the porn world's Golden Globes, if the Golden Globes were much less prestigious and had a lot more, um, "globes." While everyone and their mother crows about the thousand AVN Award nominations that they've received, XBIZ has quietly released its own nominations, highlighting many performers unsung by AVN—or at least our newfound Crush Object, Ivy Black, who garnered a nod for her work as a web starlet. We will let the press releases speak for themselves, because we have come to the conclusion that no one pays attention at adult awards shows — including the nevertheless enjoyable XBiz Awards last night, at which we at least know "Upload" won Best Feature and "Porn Week"'s Harmony Films won Best Emerging Studio (nice trick for being five years old) before Flower Tucci started disrobing and our attention was called elsewhere.
