Pregnant Japanese Women Celebrate Their Sexiness...With Naked Photos

There are many aspects of Japanese culture that remain a mystery to us (that whole tentacle thing, for one). But the current trend that's sweeping the nation is one we can definitely support: pregnant women posing for nude portraits.

What's got mothers-to-be taking their clothes off for the camera? The trend is most popular among older women having their first child, who see the photos as a way to commemorate a once in a lifetime experience—but it also helps that J-pop star hitomi published a naked pregnant photo of herself along with her last album.

We can only hope that this trend moves beyond Japan and all around the world. Hey, what can we say? We think pregnant ladies are hot!

And speaking of those horned-up chroniclers of contemporary pop culture at the New York Times this morning, it was sorta cute to see them discovering this sexy new phenomenon called "neo-burlesque" which all the kids in New York City seem to be hip to these days. What the heck is a Tumblelog? Well, if blogs have become a bit too complicated for you, or you have the attention span of a caffeinated hummingbird, a tumblelog has all same links, pictures and videos of a regular blog (shouldn't it be "tumblog"?), but without all those pesky words and ideas. Context is for suckers! Naturally, this makes them the perfect forum for porn, because let's be honest, as long as the boobies are here you don't really our witty banter at all. (Shh.
